There will be a time that it will replace it, but we dont know when it will happen, you can also see now that Bitcoin is more used.
And that is because there are many places that accept Bitcoin, and that everything is becoming more digital.
So that is very good for the coin that everything is going to be more digital.
Cant say so easily that bitcoin will be replaced to dollar.....It is popular among the people who are technically sound and computer savvy....still many people are not aware about it and more people trust should be there...Then you can say it can replace but it will take a very very long time....... |

What planet are you from? lol. The only reason why we see a price on bitcoin is because its relying back on "fiat" thats traded for... Or else there is no form of measurement.. |

Yeah that is true, dollar is known thru out the world...That's possible the reason why Bitcoin can't replace dollar..Besides, local markets would go crazy if bitcoin is what we will use...imagine a commodity having a change in price from to time without significant reason except because bitcoin price moves.. |

Yeah that is true, dollar is known thru out the world...That's possible the reason why Bitcoin can't replace dollar..Besides, local markets would go crazy if bitcoin is what we will use...imagine a commodity having a change in price from to time without significant reason except because bitcoin price moves.. Yeah this will cause commotion in the market place and if you are a dealer of goods and you need to travel the goods you bought at a province to the capital city,if the prize drop then you are really into busting. |

I rather think bitcoin as an option for the fiat currencies. I do not think bitcoin can replace fiat. I'm more than happy bicoin have a high enough price and becomes a currency in online. that is enough |

I rather think bitcoin as an option for the fiat currencies. I do not think bitcoin can replace fiat. I'm more than happy bicoin have a high enough price and becomes a currency in online. that is enough Yeah we are just happy for the price to be increase we don't need bitcoin to replace fiat.. Because bitcoin is just a digital currency and its not a physical money.. you cannot hold it with your hands unline real money.. But the price is good for bitcoin and fiat still the price remain.. |

The government will surely oppose bitcoin in the coming years,they wont like people in their country to use bitcoin as a payment system when they cant gain something from the user of bitcoin. |

Your idea is too crazy I don't think it will happen in the near future or in the long time even if 100 years the dollar will be number one currency in the world. all countries use the dollar for overseas activities. I can not imagine if government activities conducting overseas then pay something with bitcoin |

I do not think it can replace the dollar. Maybe bitcoin is more similar to gold, but with more capability for dealing rather than a currency like dollar. |

Dollars is used worlwide,at every transaction made between countries,bitcoin is being used for some thousands of people,and not companies soo there are a huge difference at the moment from single person ,to companies soo it wont happen,not now.

Yes you are right. There are many people in the world that still don't know about bitcoin, it's make bitcoin more harder to replace dollar, i think it will take long time to replace dollar. |

Yeah, bitcoin needs to be popular in order to be an alternative to dollar/fiat..No need to dream of it replacing everything and dominating every currency.. Agree to both. There are lot of currencies there and they are all still intact so why not exist together. No need to erase one just be a part of the currencies. Dollar is still strong. There are still countries that have low currencies. I guess those are the countries who can adapt bitcoin. |
