BTW I watched a US stream for the first time today, and I heard the atmosphere, even the jeers come on at the right time. I thought Dortmund switched it on. Then second half turned to Sky stream and it was all about the echo.

Anyone else notice US programming (can't recall the channel) uses canned audience sounds?

It's Fox Sport. And afaik it's the first time they use that since the league came back because of covid-19. It was weird in the beginning since they were playing in empty stadium but hey, it made the match more interesting later lol. I'm still amazed with how they synchronize the crowd noises with the situation on the pitch. It perfectly fit. Sounded real like normal games.

Congrats to Bayern Munich for winning the 2019-2020 Bundesliga league title. It's been by far the weirdest league in decades, crazy stuff happening worldwide, but even in dire times, Bayern knows how to show up in crucial games, and what do you expect? I mean, we're talking about a team that's in the top5 "best football teams in the world" =)

and I'll also be backing the Bavarians to win and total goals under 3.5 @ 3.64

Yeah right, that was some really cool profit for me, even I would have been devastated had Bayern won with and the scores was over.

As you've said Bayern does know how to turn things around in the league, they were out of the top 4 for several weeks with Monchegladbach, Leipzig and Dortmund showing some stellar performance a lead, I remember taking a side with Tokeweed that Bayern will eventually overthrow Liepzig, this exactly was what I had in mind (I'm not talking about an imposed lockdown and empty stadium, though)


Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg have been a good game in the first half as well, both teams had their fair chances but Wolfsburg's were able to steal the lead before the break, However, I wouldn't rule Leverkusen out of the fixture just yet.

did not expect that from Leverkusen, but what a heck, it will be better next round
Bayern is now new Champion, so there is only a fight for position three and four between Leverkusen, Leipzig and M'Gladbach, will be interesting enough to follow Bundesliga till the end, Werder also took one point, so they are two below Dusseldorf at the bottom, looking for that fight as well

for tomorrow will probably bet on Union against Mainz, will skip Leipzig for now

All of these games both feels great because I really missed proper football and how better could this get look at the games it was awesome, but also makes me super scared as well, I still don't know how frequent the tests are and I think it is going to be very very tough for everyone involved when one player turns out infected. It is going to be a big big deal when that happens and I don't know what they could even do about it, these players could get it from anywhere, from anyone so it is always super risky.

Let's hope that nothing like that happens and we can continue to enjoy these amazing games for a little longer. Honestly there isn't even that much game left neither, its ending pretty soon so we just have to hold out for a while without any player getting infected and its going to be fine.

I would say that was it for Dortmund. There are no titles for them this year. Unless a miracle happens suddenly, Bayern will become German champion. From now on it will be a little less fun to watch those games. More interesting is the lower part of the table. A lot can happen there.

I am quite fortunate that i didn't even waste my time watching the match otherwise i would have been super disappointed. As always, Borussia Dortmund decided to bottle again. Just when you think they have the chance to get close to winning the title, they just blow it away

I watched second half of the game and Borussia wasn't so bad, they were trying and adding more and more attacking players. Unfortunately, Haaland got injured which didn't help their goal scoring chances. Goetze was awful after coming on and they became much less dangerous after that moment.

Bayern showed the respect for the opponent you could see that they defended with whole team in the late parts of the game and one superb goal from Kimmich was enough. By the way Kimmich did so much defensively that he is my man of the match without contest.

Another awful betting day in Bundesliga for me as well. I think I will have to skip adding them to my tickets.

Dortmund has some chances to score at least one goal in that match but they failed because of defenders and Manuel Neur's good saves. However, in general, Bayern deserve the win because they have more chances in the match and Lewandowski even unfortunately hit the bar at the late of second half.

It is sad for Dortmund because they actually have a good season that is also one of their best ones in a few recent seasons. Bayern is stronger and they will likey not throw their championship away this season. A few matches left and the current point gap between Bayern and Dortmund is enough for Bayern.

Dortmund should have won this match if they wanted to capture the title this season.
Even a tie would not be a positive result for them and yet they lost. This was the end of Bundesliga title chase I think. It is now clear that Bayern is going to be the champions this season again.

Wow, what a horrible round for Bayer and Monchengladbach. With a game in hand and a decent schedule until the end of the season, Leipzig is now a strong contender to claim one of the CL spots.

Monchengladbach's result can even be considered tolerable, but Bayer losing by 3 goals at home (we can still consider it as a home ground even without fans because the pitch dimensions and grass height/speed plays a role as well) was really a surprise. If Leipzig wins against Hertha today, they will have a 4 point advantage with 5 games remaining.

This talk about home advantage - we only had three, yes 3, home wins in 18 matches, 10 away wins and 5 draws. This is pretty unusual.

In 2. Bundesliga we had 8 home wins, 7 draws and only 1 away win.

No home wins in yesterdays Bundesliga matches (3-7-12 now) and 2. Bundesliga followed the trend and no team was able to keep the 3 points in their backyard

I don't really believe in some pattern in Bundesliga, but just variance. So we should start to see some more home wins soon. However for today I don't like anything prematch. Leipzig looks like a banker on paper, also because of H2H, which is horrible for Hertha:

6-0-1, with GD 26-8 is not too shabby, but Hertha has been killing it lately with their new coach (3-0 & 4-0). @1.35 not very tempting imo, maybe some over bet.
