Bitcoins is better than western union! I really agree with this! Western Union is one of the most popular money remittance center here in our country but they are asking for so much high transaction fees! For me, it is much better to use bitcoin in sending money because of lower transaction fees and mush faster and smoother transactions!

Can't argue with that for service delivery and receipt of money, bitcoin is superior, but we must be aware that the western union transaction is still greater than the bitcoin. I think both are good and I use.

bitcoin is more better than western union because
1. easy to use 2. very fast transaction 3. nowadays, many merchant accept bitcoin as payment
especially when bitcoin began to be known by many people in the world and is widely used by most of the world's population. and accepted by all stores in the world, I'm sure bitcoin will be higher than WU, even the equivalent of a credit card

Secondly Bitcoin transactions can be done 24/7 unlike western union where the shops close after late hours of the day.

Yes, Bitcoin is far better than Western Union. WU was one of the holy grails of international transfers however its cost is too high to be a good alternative. Bitcoin offers a completely new alternative at far lesser costs. While Western Union is the Past, bitcoin is preparing to become the future

I still can't find the western union coin on any exchange. How many BTC is it worth? Is it publicly or privately issued? There must be some comparison here, a lot of people have opinions on it, yet I can't find the thing.

Despite the fees that Western union is working with, people use it with great confidence. People choose for options as Western Union, and in a lower form also MoneyGram, because it's easy to pick up and send cash money. People like the fact that they can just walk into a business that at the same time also functions as a WU point, to deposit cash money there, where a few minutes later the person you plan to send your money to can pick it up directly after that anywhere in the world at other WU points. It's a neat system that doesn't seem to lose much popularity in the current more digital becoming world. That's why more WU like businesses have been popping up in the last years. It can't be all that bad.

You can't be serious, right? In case you are in fact serious, no, it's not an altcoin, so stop browing through exchanges. Western union is a fiat based money transfer service. Just use Google and you'll find out.

There are case in some countries if u got so much from western union money transfer,u must be willing to be extort by the bank managers, even with all the required criteria. Now there are bitcoin exchanges that will deposit directly to you bank account just in few minute without stepping out of your house, less labour. No record by government or banks on your transaction from outside the country(anonymity of transaction)

bitcoin and western union have their benefits for their user and we can not say that bitcoin is better than western union. i am agree that the fee of bitcoin in each transaction is small rather than western union but as i say that bitcoin and western union have each value and we can not denied this.

In my own opinion Bitcoin is better than western union because in the first place bitcoin offers the lowest fee above other money transfer services second it gives us confidence that its not gonna be robbed by others and lastly it's not gonna take days before the receiver claim their money! in Bitcoin as soon as the transaction confirmed the receiver gonna receive it instantly

Actually it is better specially with the fees. But the problem is this Western Union service is used via fiat to fiat which is more used by many people. If there will be places to where we could withdraw bitcoin or an industry to where they would exchange bitcoin for cash then it might get really better than it. It is just that WU have a lot of branches now so it is widely used.

I agree with you, bitcoin is more better than Western Union, also in my country Western Union has a big name of money transfer. But when i know about bitcoin and used it to amount transfer than i really surprised that we pay very cheap rate to amount transfer. That's why i prefer bitcoin than Western Union.

The comparison is like saying what's better: fruit or wall-mart?

Check on Google " Western Union?", It will show you all information about it. WU is not a coin obviously, it is a remittance service all over the world but handle fiat transaction (send-receive money) read about it https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_UnionWhat we compare is how many value of money/equal to bitcoin in global transaction. What makes bitcoin better is the low fees of bitcoin compare to higher fees to use WU service.

We can't compare bitcoin with western union. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which has its own existence independent of any other currencies. Western Union is financial services and communications company which basically allows people to send money to one another in different countries. So, there is no special western union currency, it's just dollars.

I have never used western union, but from all I know, you can send cash money to everybody on the planet, right to his doorstep. The recipient does not have to do anything, except maybe sign somewhere. Bitcoin is way mor complicated. You need a wallet and often ways to convert the coins into fiat. I think a lot of people simply can not manage that. Both have their advantages, it depends on the people what option suits them better.

Exactly we're not talking about bitcoin as currency and compare it to the western union but as payment method. Anyway i told my friend to stop using western union, they charges him 12 dollars for every 100 dollars of the transaction and it took 4 business days, now he's using bitcoin and he can send his money to all over the world simply without worried about the fee, it is really cheap.
