Even Ben Simmons averages 100 points, 100 rebounds, 100 assist per game, you can't force a player that is not interested anymore to play at the team. It's totally pointless to sign a player that already creating a drama in a team. It will affect the whole team's performance. They can let go of that Ben Simmons stats. It's not a total lose to them.

But that is not the real problem here. It's the 76ers management that doesn't want to let him go for he can be a big part of a better trade rather than forcing it now and end up with future picks. Their goal is to win this year and not next year.
And Ben Simmons is still signed with them, it's a trade that needs to happen to satisfy his request to be out of the team.
If this drama happened earlier then it could've been an easy task to look for a good deal but now it's not, Schoder was a good example of it.
It will just be a loss deal if they try to force it which will be regrettable if remembered.

Take that loss, if I'm the 76ers management, instead  of this drama prolonging, it will have a drastic effect on the team itself. Gamble for a Simmons trade right now + future draft picks and then both of them can move-on. This saga will just haunt the 76ers, and the longer it go, the longer it will impact the team negatively.

Time flies so fast lol. I didn't noticed that NBA Pre-Season games will be on next week. Lakers and Nets matchup seems to be a good start to fuel the excitement of the NBA fans. The pre-season games will last 2 weeks and Brooklyn Nets again will start the official season against the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks. Excited here too. Let's hope that Lakers and Nets will go fully with their healthy lineup. Like to seem them seriously competing each other even it's just a Pre-Season games.

Is there any news out there now that starters will not play? Since it was a Pre-Season opening, I think starters will play but for just limited minutes as always.

Since it's the Lakers and Nets, if things got heated up and the game is close, I'm sure they will take the game seriously as they are pumped. Hope even for limited minutes, both teams will unleash their superstars. A 15 to 20 minutes playing time for their superstars should be ok.

I agree, the way this young star move he still has a lot to offer, Nuggets really keeping their stars, after Gordon now it's Porter Jr who signed decent amount of money, this deal will keep him and push him to play harder. Looking for this team to be on the playoff again, even the competition from the West is really tough.

With Joker and Jamal towering, the offense supporting cast is really important to win the game. They already have the chemistry, but now they need to bring more with Jamal coming back from the injury.

There are a lot of strong teams in the West, but I thing Nuggets is not that far, specially if Jokic can perform another MVP season this year. The days have gone fast and here we are a week away to see another NBA game. even though we won't see the live game, to see them play again with healthy rosters is such a great experience. Man! I'm super excited. I just wonder if how much it cost you to get to a game such as this one. I believe the ticket is not the same for every NBA game especially when the team has some superstars such as Lakers and Nets.

I haven't tried Stake.com live coverage during preseason but I'll check it out and I hope they will have one so I won't need to go through different websites offering that service. The only downside watching here is it's too small with high quality or enlarge it with a low quality vid. But if it's free and legal then I think I will just endure it.

It's a scary thought actually and I hope they don't break up too soon like what happened to OKC's Durrant, WB, and Harden. Good job to MP Jr. for securing a huge contract at an early age. I would like to see more hunger to keep his game up unlike those before him that declined after a lucrative deal.

A healthy Nuggets is quite scary for the 2022 season. Porter, did make a great decision on this one at a young age securing a max contract. Despite the limited minutes last season, he was all out on those minutes and he deserves this one. Hopefully, they could have a healthy season and a good run until the playoffs. Jokic, Murray and Porter Jr. are the there Big 3 so yeah pretty decent one hopefully they'll last

We are getting close to the pre-season games to start. And the first game is just amazing I think. It is like we are going to watch a very early NBA finals between Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets in Staples Center.    I don't know if we are going to be able to see the usual starting five for both teams. If we do, then it is going to be hell of a game. I would like to see Nets winning this one.

Honestly if I were the sixers, I'd say he is up for trade for picks.  Call every teams front office see if they want him and whoever comes in with the best picks package you take.  Cut cord and move on.

Money is precious.  Considering how good their GM is, he won't just give up such a valuable guy being paid with a lot of money over a quantity of players.
He will certainly look for quality.

The best thing to do so both can move on, the longer they keep Simmons, they are the ones who are losing here as their season chances to win might suffer. The decision is easy, they should not wait to get the best offer based on their expectation as they have waited too long and Simmons is not doing anything to contribute to the team.

They may been waiting until the other teams will have a change of mind and give up one of their stars in exchange for a future star. Ripening the issue.
A team that is reconstructing and doesn't really aim for the Finals this year but has some good resources.

Definitely an underrated big 3. I think their experience hurts them, but they’re getting more and more of that with each passing day. A shame that Murray missed out on the postseason last year, but he’ll be back and will get another shot at it. They’re an unusual bunch, but I think the sky is the limit, especially for Porter Jr.

Waiting for that guy to be called a star someday. He has the body, the shooting skills, the intellect, and the attitude to be one of the best in the league.
One problem I can see that stops him from claiming that position is his confidence after the back injury.
His season stats was so good until the playoffs came and he was like going thru labor while forcing to play the game.
I bet this year it will be a better one, although Murray will be in the bench for quite some time before full recovery, Porter Jr. and Gordon can provide the help needed to be on safe seed until the playoffs.

That's a great contract for a young player, he looks like a superstar of a team but I believe that the Nuggets management knows what they are doing. During the playoffs, his contribution was not consistent, hopefully he will feel the pressure to be better as he made the biggest contract of his life in the NBA.
