The wait is almost over. Finally, the season will start again after a few more sleeps.

Then the old rivalry of Steph Curry versus Lebron James.

I think that's a good choice made by the NBA to start the season.

I think the Lakers and the Mavs are a better season opener match up than the GSW.
Though the Warriors have acquire a veteran Al Horford, which adds something interesting about the team, but I think the Mavs acquiring Flagg is more interesting, and I think that's what makes the Lakers vs Mavs match up very interesting. I mean, let's see If the Mavs really won the trade sacrificing Luka for Flagg and AD.

Still good match up to watch knowing Lakers and Warriors have long standing rivalry.

Fans provably love to watch this match up especially there's some great roster changes and additions happened. Al Horford is for sure is difference maker in Warriors and somehow I'm excited to watch this especially they are doing good so far. Also in Lakers side it seems that Luka is well prepared and chasing to win a championship for Lakers this season.

Mavs somehow is good but I think NBA Lakers know that they can get more higher ratings in this match ups.

While I like the NBA, I'm also waiting for the NCAA season to start. Still another 2 weeks though, which is quite sad. Watching NBA games sometimes is quite boring to be honest. Resting stars, lame atmosphere in the arena, players that are rich and don't show they really want it. NCAA is the complete opposite, guys are fighting for a future in this sport, arenas often are packed and loud, that's what I want to see.

Much more fun to watch, that's why the NCAA final 4 has a higher viewership than the NBA finals basically every year.

Yeah, not 2 weeks but 2 days. Very close to the regular season. I can't wait.

No, they can't rebuild around Westbrook, he might just be there to guide them with his experience. Maybe play as second unit, but with Westbrook's history, he might played for just a couple of minutes to stabilize everything.

I agree, his contract says that he can also be removed anytime they want to. And we all know that NBA is just a business and all of the older ones can free to go when they're done with their purpose.

While he can tell some good tactics or strategies and guide the younger players, I second that it's not worth it to rebuild the team with him since he's not given a long term contract.

Well, in my opinion, Coach Pop was the biggest factor for the Spurs, rather than any particular player. Even if Wemby and the other players are healthy, I don't think they will be able to reach their full potential and perform as well under a different coach as they potentially could under Pop.

I guess the fact that Durant sees the Rockets as a title contender type of team is the reason why he agreed to have an extension, and maybe Coach Udoka is a factor on it as well. Durant's eligible for the max contract which is 2-year $120M, but he chooses to sacrifice some of the money, and that's a win for the management. Nevertheless, it's good to see Durant having some fun with his new team, and this extension is one proof of it.

Looking at the roster of Houston, I might underestimated them before the start of the season, but they're a playoff or perhaps a title contender team just by looking at their roster. Also, it's good that Coach Udoka is giving Sheppard more minutes right now even it's just a pre-season. I just hope that it will continue on the regular season.
