Even then I don't think he would've won the chip either way, and yeah I agree way too many trades he doesn't give himself time to gel with a team and grow.

As for Lebron father time doesn't wait on no man!!  But it is a trip that he's not playing for a few weeks and not even opening night first time in decades.

But it is Luka's team now the future looks some what bright for Purple and Gold.

Whether he can or cannot win without Curry doesn't matter in the end. He played, he played great throughout his whole career, and he made a load of money during his career. He probably could care less about a trophy in the end since he already has 1, regardless of who it was with.

As far as what has he done since leaving GSW? Well Kevin Durant has averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game last year. I don't think that's too shabby.

We are 2 and a half hours from tip off for the 2025-2026 NBA season. I am torn whether I should get burgers or Mexican food to enjoy the occasion. On one hand, burgers and sports seem to go together like Forrest and Jenny. On the other hand, it is Tuesday and Tuesdays are for tacos… Decisions decisions.

He still couldn't do it without Steph, he literally went to the GSW after THEY beat him and OKC.

All in all they both benefited from the results, so it's a win win for them.

I'm sure KD will be a fantastic player for this team. Alperen Şengün's performance at the European Basketball Championship was also fantastic. He's gained a lot of experience now, and I'm confident he'll be even more successful. I think we'll see them in the playoffs this season.
Of course, once the season starts, things will become clearer; it's not really fair to predict right now. If they can get off to a good start, we'll see how serious they are

When KD transferred to the Rockets, they have become a fan favorite team now. That's because they've got big men and promising players there like Sengun and Adams. While there are supporting players that will surely give a good help from him and them being helped by KD, we'd see on how this team is going to give the fans a boost of which team they're going to cheer. Hopefully, they will make it to the playoffs. I want a lot of teams to be there, LOL.

I've checked the odds on chips and you're right, that the Thunders and the Warriors are the favorite. Rockets having that 2.95 looks good and a good test for the start of the season and their debut.

But as for Lakers and Warriors, that 2.16 for the Lakers could also be that good and we'd see how with their new big man is going to play with the regular games that they have.

I also want to see Rockets and Lakers win this game when they're portrayed as underdogs for this opening.

Thunder are in OKC for home opener of the season since they did the ring presentation right before the game started.
Houston are looking good with Durant in the line-up and everybody was thinking it was going to take a couple of games into the season until he gets use to his new team.
It has been a competitive 1st quarter and only Holmgren has over 15 points/assists/rebounds so far.
He is killing it for the Thunder for this premiere matchup with a really big looking Rockets team with all these 7 footers.
It looks like they playing in the trees trying to make it to the rim through the forest.

No disrespect, but GSW would have been decimated by Cleveland cavaliers few time in the finals after they were defeated in a 3-1 comeback, after that they need to recruit Durant go over where Durant having a vacation just to save, they were a different team after 3-1 advantage loss, they know Cleveland have their numbers, Durant carry them in the finals against LeBron dragging a standard team, look what happen when Kevin Durant injury in the raptors gsw clash, did Steph able to win? the answer is no, Iggy and other players cover Steph just to show he's flashy 3 point shooting, Poole help them win another championship that's fact, they needed supporting players, and Durant is not a supporting player he's the star during that time until now.

What a game… The Rockets looked good but they desperately needed their point guard. Sheppard was being taken advantage of on both ends of the floor. SGA is also looking like a star. I guess that doesn’t surprise most people but I haven’t watched him play much.

Tough loss in double OT. We've realized that Şengün is still the leader of this team.
Durant was good in the first half, but he disappeared in the second half and in overtime. SGA was invisible in the first half too, but he showed up when it mattered. They lost because of KD's amateur foul. With 2.3 seconds left, they couldn't draw up a proper final play, Şengün didn't get the ball. There are lessons to be learned from this game, but I found the Rockets quite strong. The biggest problem is the lack of a point guard. If VanVleet won't be back for the playoffs, they should find a reliable PG as soon as possible. Sheppard was awful. He kept making bad decisions and still has a lot to learn.

39-11-7 from Şengün. Definitely one of the Top 5 players of the league right now.

He’s having to direct Ayton on defense and keeps feeding him passes right at the hoop but Ayton can’t seem to get it done. Marcus Smart is playing weird basketball out there too making the game about fouls.

The Lakers messed up in the third quarter, which left them trailing by 16 points with eight minutes remaining in the fourth. It's worth noting that Luka has definitely played well tonight, but the rest of the team has been pretty weak. To be honest, I expected more from Ayton and Smart.

Yeah, poor Luka. I mean obviously there is some talent in this team, but there are also guys which are total liabilities on both ends of the floor, which must be very annoying for him. Usually he can focus on scoring and passing but having to direct the defense is yet another task you don't really need when you are an offensive weapon like him.

Yes, first game of the season and we have seen how good Houston is and so is the defending champion. There are still some loopholes on the Rockets though, but it seems that I might be wrong to count them out this season because they've overhauled the team. So let's see, KD is still a big threat and I don't think that he is slowing down at this point in his career like WB. And even without Williams, OKC is still very dangerous team with SGA leading them. He is a real superstar now, no doubt about it and those reports earlier that came out that they can be back to back champions could be real.
