Are there any plans to support BIP70? People can't pay BitPay invoices with their Trezor anymore, which is a very bad experience.
It's not an immediate plan for them as already explained by the CTO. I believe both Electrum and Mycelium support BIP70 so you could use them with Trezor in order to pay. mycelium on android does support bitpays new format (bought stuff off newegg with it recently), so you can use the trezor that way for it.

BIP70 was a piece of crap rammed through by Andressen ... it leaks information like a sieve. Try to avoid using it wherever you value privacy.

I am waiting this new Trezor T but it seems that I can expect snow in summer sooner than this device to become available. It's says around March, in every store.
What i find very good about this device among all others hardware wallets is USB-c instead of that MicroUSB that is likely to break.

Such idea is very innovative. The only limitation you may have in the security of such wallet is lack of commitment during supportive stage to your subscribers where either response time is slowed or you renege on promises as experienced formerly.

I can say that about Ledgerwallet but definitely not Trezor. You can get in touch with the team through Direct messages on Twitter, Reddit or email, they are very responsive.

For Trezor you can email Satoshi Labs. They usually respond fast. Within about a day.

is it better than ledger wallet? I think so. I have two Trezors and Ledger Nano S. I also have three HW1 (the predecessor to all Ledger devices). I don't use the HW1s any more and prefer the Trezor over the Ledger. I just got the Ledger for some coins Trezor does not support yet.

I've heard great things about the Trezor, however I've personally bought the Nano Ledger. Haven't used it yet. Just beware whichever you end up buying, try to purchase directly from source, because there are scammers purchasing these opening them up and reselling them on Amazon (while having stolen the private words to recover the coins)

Does not matter if they are opened. You cannot steal the private words. The words are set up by you by initializing the device. If you get one with seed words already initialized then you reset the device and reinitialize it with new seed words. Never use any device where the seed has already been done. That is a scam that is easily defeated by common sense.

I am not sure if that's the only thing they can do to your new Trezor. It can be tampered with in many ways on hardware level.
Why would they even bother to seal device so good, if you all worries could be solved with just one notification to buyer:
"Clean wipe device before first use to insure your device is SEED free and not initialized before"

The only hardware hack for a Trezor was after it was initialized with a seed and had to be taken apart without being powered up before wires soldered to it. That attack vector has been closed with updated firmware. If the firmware is changed before you get the Trezor will warn you that the firmware's signature is not genuine and warns you to not use the device.

I think this is a good idea. The bicoin hardware wallet will be the right choice, even it's easier to use than a credit card.

I already faced this problem two times. In the first, I had to run the browser into incognito mode and disable plugins (e.g NoScript) which make sense and in the second time which happened recently, I was using Tor and apparently that was blocking me even though I filled a captcha before connecting to the wallet.
