I have on first page BlockC's kit image. It is dhcp so easy to connect to your network, and after you can set up a static IP. As most like static IP's more. But I would look at that image and try it. It's a good one to get started with.

1. How do you know which version of A6 you have? I understand there are 2 hardware revisions for A6, so how do you find out which version you have?
Another way to tell is hash rate, as the Rev 2's have a higher base rate - closer to 3.7 than 3.5. 2. Both of my A6 have hot spots on the bottom side. Is it okay to place it upside down? I think I can reduce the heat coming from the bottom side by directing forced air on it if it's placed upside down. Are there something innards that can fall from being placed upside down?
The reason I was told that they have a hot spot on the bottom is because the heat sink is closer to the case on the bottom - plus there's a pretty big open air cavity on the top. Flipping them over probably wouldn't hurt, and might also help address the issue that hot air sometimes gets trapped in that upper area (because it doesn't have a clean air inlet that goes over the controller board), which can cause the controller to read higher temps than actual ambient. And yes, those Sanyo Denki Ace fan's are sweet in terms of quality, price and performance! I use them on all my PSU's as well... Thank you, MarkAz! The Avalon 6 miners I bought from you work great! They're Version 2 hardware. OgNasty as escrow is another gentleman. I can recommend both MarkAz and OgNasty, they're an example of true gentlemanship in this cesspool of scammers and low-life scums that infest the forum.

I would agree on Sanyo Denki, they are good with high RPM depending on what model. Have not used one on a A6 but in day's of S4's it was my fan of choice if a S4 needed replacement. So don't think you can go wrong with them I always had good luck with them.

One of the hashing boards seems to keep dropping only a few minutes after I restart cgminer, any ideas? Its temps go down to idle and hashing speed goes to approximately half.

Zoomhash is 799 for one plus 40 to ship west coast to east coast. While I prefer these to the s-7 they are costly. @ dogie try different pools and try a fan speed like 50 or 60. I seem to have a board drop out in about ten to sixteen hours. I rotate pools and it seems to go,away for another 10-12 hours.

I will find out if it is still the same.

If there is enough interest and if Philipma (or another iindividual with good qualifications) is willing to do a group buy we can get them for $650. I just spoke to Yan at BlockC.

Thanks for talking to Yan and getting a current quote. Nice to see as a customer it went down some. It really is a great miner would be great to see even more adapt and use them.
