The transition from hybrid PoW/PoS to PoS is not likely itself to result in a massive price increase, because due to PoW no longer mining, there isn't a need so much to offload the cost of mining by selling off EGC.

For price to increase, it could be as simple as on Bittrex more than 1.5 - 2.5 BTC gets traded on Bittrex in a single day exposing the coin to daily traders.

Similarly, being seen as one of the top 25 to 50 Cryptocurries on Coinmarketcap could put EGC on the map!

Or it could be a new update on the wallet, the website, more social media posts, or merchant partnership that kicks it off.

As long as the coin is seen to be 'Active' and 'stable', it's price will gradually increase.

we have worked hard on making it stable - and steven has done his damnedest to keep it active ...

as a dev and as a person - he has to be one of the koolest ones ...

the result will more than likely be long term ... so 'real' holders and supporters of the project will benefit greatly from the project ...

a lot more needs to be done - but it will all get there in the end ...

I've had it with Yobit. Seems that "soon" for them is like weeks or so (or even months).
No more trading for me there anymore. I'll stick to Bittrex and C-Cex for my EGC.

Yobit is crap anyways. Don't need that scamming exchange. I would prefer every exchange more then yobit. All please start trading on bittrex and get your coins out of yobit when they repair the wallet. Lets better trade on an exchange that is legit and don't only add fake coins! Hope EGC will shine again but untill now EGC still don't have anything what other Coins don't have except the good dev support here. EGC really need something that push it into the front with a unique system or unqiue real life programm. I don't think that a Strato launch is enough to bring people to EGC. EGC need to be usefull for the people and need a payment gateway to use it. You are hoping here for people that only buy the Coin to hold it untill price rising.... The Solar staking machine is not unique anymore too... some other projekts starting a solar miner too. I really hope EGC could rise again but untill now I see more talking then doing from the EGC team. Untill now we only see 2 dates of the strato launch failed and the real start failed too... No real green projekts till now and I don't khnow how a strato launch should be anything near a green projekt...

Thanks for the kind words Crysx and the words of encouragement Port. Yes, much work remains.

Some coins, perhaps coins with less ambitious plans, are actually negatively impacted in regards to price when PoW ends. Of course I am glad to see this has not seemed to be the case for us.

As far as wallet updates, we recently had 3 in as many weeks so, I can't see that in the immediate future. Of course, wallet enhancement suggestions are always welcome for discussion.

I do make periodic social media posts. If even sharing relevant environmental information, so as to not leave our audience bored. I had had some help with with this in the past, sorry if I became slightly accustomed to that luxury. I will maintain more diligence to not allow it to go stale and keep EGC fresh in people's minds and attract more minds.

On a more immediately proactive note, I will PM you this morning Port, so we can pickup our website conversations that were place on the side of the recent network issues and subsequent upgrade.

Yes, I have been checking several times throughout the day at YoBit. 'Soon' mustn't be universal terminology. I will continue to check periodically and gladly report success, as soon as yobit catches up with to their definition of 'soon'.

Yes, at present it is easy to look at being listed on yobit regrettably. As most of us know, getting a coin listed shortly after launch without simply buying the listing, is a community effort and a milestone. But in this case, it has proved a hinderance in many, emphasising many, ways for myself, EGC, and the entire EGC community. Unfortunately, the ball remains in their court.

While it is true the strato project could not be accurately labeled, "green" per se, it is surely an environmental project. Please do not think we are limited to green because it appears in the name. Gabi has all sorts of sensors to make measurements during flight and record the results. I do honestly think the project is a good match despite not being "green" or doing something in a less resource depleting way. For the record, it was actually the 3rd attempt before the balloon got inflated and a launch attempt was made. The idea only fails when and if we quit. Something we know Gabi will not allow.

I am not sure who can actually lay claim to the first thought of solar in crypto. Given the absolute necessity of electricity and it usually the only recurring input expense, I am sure the original thought occurred long ago. We never intended to present the idea as ours, only that we wished to pursue. The original idea for the EGC solar miner (PoS) came from an early discussion with myself and Gabi stemming from a solar mining (PoW) farm discussion, prior to the strato project being born. I can tell you with certainty, it was not borrowed.

Yes, the 'real world use' and payment processing gateway so that use can become has been discussed. We all agree it is needed. At present, we lack the capital to simply buy our way and we lack the market cap to make such service voluntarily add us. Crysx's colleague, soon to be mine, is developing a 'homegrown' solution as well. We do have achievable routes to obtain this and we will. I am sorry if this comes across to you as only talking. I assure you it is not only talking but I do try and be very communicative and openly honest with the community. Yes we have faced speed bumps, but not allowed them to become walls. Please know these speed bumps consume more than time alone. We have provided proof we are pursuing all mentioned endeavors and have nothing to gain by misrepresenting these facts.

Thank you and thank you. I do see PoS difficulty fluctuate considerably, especially over the last 24-36 hours, but certainly, that can be equated to more or less coins being staked.

I am not sure what that is, pardon my ignorance. Some quick research tells me it has something to do with the Muslim Eid prayer, for which I do not know and of course I do not want to offend with my lack of understanding.
