is there a coin which rose in value just after ico?
in my memory the price always dropped first

Price always starts too high, light x5-10. Then come sellers that are fine with x2-x3 profits. But I don't remember price go lower than IPO price if tech behind coin is solid. Sometimes shit happens and people with soft balls sell low, but if there's nothing wrong with a coin network nobody sells with loss.

I think Lisk is too solid to go under ICO price Tongue

Talking about the price after the ICO is not interesting at all, unless you got into Lisk for a quick buck.

Why?

To get Lisk on the road, the team needs a budget for developers, PR, closing deals, attend conferences.

We, the investors make that happen! When you buy Lisk, you buy a piece of the future, you make this possible!

The price after the ICO can go anywhere but doesn't affect the team that's working on Lisk anymore: they depend on what the ICO has yielded.

Up to now I think it's safe to say the ICO surpassed everyone's expectations! That's awesome!

Now: let's focus on development, not on price after an ICO that will be based on FUD, whales, hypes and what's more to come. When the team shows results, price will settle.

When you step into an ICO, it's a long term investment... Only weak hands get out early...

The speculation was interesting, but you're right.

Another point to discuss: I don't like things done hurriedly, but the devs must consider that must bring very good results long before the Bitcoin's halving event, cause we'll see a lot of cashouts and a lot of altcoins dying.

Bitcoin halving won't do much.
Only a short pump and back to normal, same as last halving.

I have bought some Lisk Ico yesterday.
today i logged in and there is like 5% of my coins missing,

what happened, any guess guyz, tia

You did not loose any lisk, in fact it will get less! With every investment the amount of lisk you receive will go lower.
seems like people are investing blindfolded, without knowing the basic rules of the ico.
I don't know if it's good or not, but these people look to me that they're buying because of the btc rose until now, and not because they know what's lisk.

Sorry to say, but it takes a lot of time reading carefully and english is not my first language. So i do my best, and with a little amount of Lisk im glad to "belong" to this project hoping the best.

Here you go. compare. First number is total during ICO, second number is current market cap in btc, and their % increase/decrease, 4th number is if you invested 1 btc and are still holding today how many btc you'd have:

Ripple: 72,289 BTC - 676,227 BTC Market Cap - 835% increase (8.25 btc)
Ethereum: 31,531 BTC - 2,462,284 BTC Market Cap - 7709% increase (77.09 btc)
Maidsafe: 12,200 BTC - 104,696 BTC Market Cap - 758% increase (7.58 btc)
Stellar: 7,228 BTC - 27,803 BTC Market Cap - 284% increase (2.84 btc)
Bitshares: 6829 BTC - 38,981 BTC Market Cap - 470% increase (4.7 btc)
Factom: 2287 BTC - 43,194 BTC Market Cap - 1788% increase (17.88 btc)

That's not a very useful comparison for an ICO speculator. Interesting number is how much you would have made in first month of trading. If it's not significant you're better off waiting for trading to start.

Who made the Logo? Remind me not to hire them!

But that aside,

"Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform"

So you have a fully working, decentralized blockchain, that has the platform to build sidechains?

so if you don't like it, go away.  none will be hurt if they never hear you again

Well, I just hope that Lisk follow the BTC uptrend in terms of USD, thus the halving can become helpful to the project too.

Upon all the mere speculation of how well lisk may do
set that aside for the moment and take inconsideration
the fact Microsoft partnered with a project (lisk) and the coins hasn't even been released yet... now does that speaks volume of lisk.

Let alone how many exchanges will pick up (Lisk)
once the coins are released?

If anyone can do proper evaluation of the crypto 2.0- 3.0
& what the market (overall collectively) is actually worth..
then maybe possibly there could be a starting point to indicate what projects in the crypto ecospace are valued at, at minimum.

Crypto will continue to mature, innovation coming forward at the speed of light, markets are quickly evolving Staying ahead of the curve is being on top on what's going on in the crypto ecospace & mainstream adoption is the next phase and if that's not on any crypto coins  agenda than that coin may jus a have very short life span.

P&D occur quite frequently, but here's the thing with the
Amount of attention lisk has garnered thus far, dumping into med-long term holders may jus prevent re-entry @ ico starting price.

It appears many inexperience traders Settling for pennies/peanuts will be a choice amongst the certified amateurs..

One thing about Promising tech, more experience long-term holder/traders they pray upon the inexperience to dump.

Lisk ICO price is too over-priced at the moment.

Brace yourself for a 50% downward price correction after launch.

OMG. If a newbie accounts says... It must be true! I will buy all you stack at -25%, save your money and your dignity right now!

When I set up 2-Factor Authorization it did NOT give me a 16 digit key.

So if I lose my phone I'm screwed?

Or is there a way to get the key?

Thanks.

Does, or will, Lisk use Sia (sia.tech) as a storage backend like Crypti does?

I just alarmed on what you discuss here mate don't bother to read more about this alt but when you say microsoft  did partnership with this alt get my attention so in the near future this alt might considered as a token to buy ms products and will create a good ways of trading. I'll look forward for the development of this coin and I'll be buying some as a newbie in trading I'm just trusting my luck to hit a jackpot doing small trading of alt. Good luck OP.

  Lisk in the News again..
Short Article from 16th of March 2016 from CCN

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/lisk-raises-over-1-9-million-usd-establishes-partnerships-with-microsoft-azure-and-iot-research-lab/

Someone may have already posted this news piece.

As it appears the word about Lisk is growing and the MS azure project annoucement partnership may have helped solidify & strengthen it's position going forward..

Lisk Asset Group has plans to support the lisk team and community through promotions & creative marketing approaches..

How many different exchanges are currently considering trading Lisk at launch?

the writing is on the wall.
