Finally received a reply from Global Mod hilariousandco https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=164822 regarding their sig space price for the year. hilariousandco is looking for about 2 BTC. So if the community thinks it's worth it (it probably is fair price considering the already extreme post count and the user being a global moderator)? DEV can maybe try to start another fundraiser! Anyway just wanted to give everyone an update, as I just received a response back today from hilariousandco.

A huge DASH/ XMR pissing competition - both pointing out how bad each one is.
Just read their forums on BCT and you will find out the truth.
XVG does what they both claim and is just a fraction of the price.
I used your quote for today's press release, hope you don't mind :-) https://www.prbuzz.com/personal-finance/368915-verge-xvg-the-next-big-crypto-currency-is-here-for-2016-says-the-alt-coin-experts-of-bitcoin-talk.htmlOK initial pre-launch of new sites to spread VERGE awareness :-) ALL proceeds from these sites will be going to Charity and further VERGE Development! Take a look and let me know what you think! Keep in mind these sites are for charity and VERGE development only, not as a money making business. http://xvg.io/blackjack/ and http://xvg.io/dice/index.php Once I'm comfortable and the sites are thoroughly tested I will launch an official ANN thread. both sites have faucets as well! i think this games must be added at the OP done. i'll have the faucet game up shortly. Thanks DEV!

Hi Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunantly XVG is not available on poloniex at this time. All future coins added will require poloniex availability as I use it to calculate rates for my disbursements.
Your Cryptospout Support Team,
Great monopolly it seams, whatever they will be coming back!

I would prefer you guys do what earth coin does. It seems to be able to handle higher hashing rates without shutting down the system. Difficulty still increases but things keep moving on the network. You have to force the user to keep the hashing power going so he can't just raise the difficulty high and jump off. Is there away to sense that the hashing power drops away and then do a launch of one block quickly if that situation occurs. Its okay for the difficulty to stay up as long as someone is still hashing. But if the situation occurs where they hash to raise the difficulty and then jump out then the system should respond after so many minutes and just send out a winning coin block so the difficulty can then correct itself in a timely manner.

.......You have to force the user to keep the hashing power going so he can't just raise the difficulty high and jump off.
That's exactly their purpose for dumping so much hash on the network. Tie it up and leave a high diff behind. The reason is anyone's guess.

I bought my rig and just started randomly hashing away, no clue what i was doing, and swapping coins faster than the multipools could do it ...course, im a bit naive. side question... the irc chat... what server is that connected to? is it verge only server? . just curiuos really. I used to host an irc 20yrs ago.... (or so..dang...) g

I had my own BBS running on 5 of these badass 56K Us Robotics modems indeed.. those were the days.. i ran renegade bbs and wildcat too for a little bit.. do you remember what software you ran? also, i found out whos been hitting our network with that hashpower, so me and barrysty1e came up with a fix that should work, but the best part is... we'll be exposing who it is publicly. theyre involved in alot of coins, that's all ill say for now
