what pool is killing with the hashrate
i dont know the name of it, but i have an ip.. it'll be over soon though, when we switch to multi algo =] what time to switch? how long? we cant mining anything now |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

btw sorry i wasnt around much last night or earlier today, i pinched a nerve in my back last night.. it's getting a bit easier to walk now though. should be back to normal in a day or two. right now i'm testing some of the new updates to our codebase that myself and others made this week, and they look great! the splash screen only shows for a sec and then wallet opens immediately, instead of a lag.. the chat window now has proper spacing and help commands, and its not seperating words with .'s anymore. after the multi algo switch, things should be alot smoother! really excited.. newest updates can be seen here: https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/commits/master |

Part of the problem for me is... I know scrypt, blake and...thats really it. no idea what prime,quark, groest...etc have going for them... I'll try to look them up before i vote this time... (but i work 9hrs today, and by the time i get to this, i'll probably forget ) Scrypt is scrypt. i liked blake...not sure ill do it again...but if verge puts it on, i would look at my rig and see what i need to rebuild it lol. g |

You can't vote unless you are higher 'level' on the forum. ie: your status is a newbie still. I forget the number/time? that you need. at a completely guess its 10posts, not sure if time frame minimum either. (the Forum board itself has that ...ruling... in place to prevent cheats, etc.) |
