After getting angry at Russell in the Azerbaijan GP this time Verstappen must be really frustrated after Leclerc's simple mistake and having an accident after. Leclerc also stated that he was so sad about making this mistake twice on the same race week. Perez has a good opportunity in hand as a result but let's see how effectively he will use it. He was pretty impressive in the previous race.

Verstappen would be the only threat to him even though Verstappen will start in 9th position. I wonder how determined he will be this time to overtake Perez and be the winner.

It was unfortunate to see Verstappen start only in ninth place because, on top of that, he aborted his first attempt in Q3 because of a slip he had.

I understand F1's safety rules, but I keep asking myself if it was really so necessary to interrupt practice with only 2 minutes left and LecLerc's car stopped several meters from the track. I think they could have followed normally until the end, or does anyone disagree?

Absolutely not.There was no reason to stop the Q3 to not start again,for me it should not have stopped at all but since they put a Red flag they should have started or better restarted the Q3 as there were 1.38 minutes,enough for every car to come out and try one final lap for those that still could.I understand that Leclerc could not but I am sure Verstappen were ready and a lot of other drivers were waiting to improve themselves because the track conditions as we saw throughout the whole qualification kept improving so F1 safety rules are becoming a joke,a real bad joke for me.

As long as Ferrari keeps them coming and as long as the distance of just 0.300 is real also in the race distance and not for a single lap we may have a Championship open again.I would love to see the massive upgrades which should come to at least since the Monaco track of F1 from Ferrari but in that track probably we won't notice them as it is a really slow track so most likely after that track we would see some nice upgrades to this Ferrari which seems to have picked up pace.

Miami is a nice track but seeing Verstappen and his driving skills I doubt anyone else except him will win this race unless he has some mechanical or electrical failure.

I think the issue was never the car difference, car difference is low enough that whenever Red Bull has an issue, Ferrari could win and they would be getting more points. Even in a situation where one of the Red Bull cars finish first, if Ferrari could finish second and third together, then they would get more points and that's good enough.

The issue here is that we are talking about a team that constantly ends up being the one that loses points, look at Australia as the biggest example, the whole team got zero points, and they had one of their worst starts ever in the first three races. So the issue is not the car speed, obviously do get faster if you can, but try to finish races without issues is their biggest weapon, Red Bull is amazing at that.

Verstappen's chances of winning in the upcoming races appear to be quite slim, considering that he started from 9th and above him there are Alonso and Sainz, who have a much better chance than him. Instead, I'm more interested in seeing how Verstappen from 9th place can compete against Russell, where in the last race he was quite angry with Russell for being too aggressive. I want to see how they overtake each other and show who is the best.

Verstappen will be very disappointed with yesterday's qualifying. Without his fault he can now start in 9th place. That's the risk of going out so late to set up a lap. If there is a yellow flag or a red flag 2 minutes before time, you are done and you have no time at all. In that respect, Red Bull did a clumsy job. If Verstappen were allowed to drive, he would undoubtedly have finished first, because he was by far the fastest of everyone all weekend. An ideal opportunity for Perez to win the F1 race again. And maybe seriously compete for the World Cup title?

The weather conditions is what made me place a funny bet on both McLaren cars to be in the Top 6 at the odd of 101,I just placed some cents in this to add to the emotion of the race,I also bet a couple of other bets like Stroll in top 6 and then in top 8 because I believe Stroll to do a great race as I am assuming he will be starting with hard tires and to be driving a long time without the pit stop and who knows what happens with the safety car and the rain predicted.

For the race winner I have no doubts it will be Perez as long as we are racing in normal conditions but since most likely we are not going to have normal conditions because of the weather I think that this race is a gamble and a lottery and can be anyone win here.

That could be a very strange race if we get rain on the track. It is very difficult for drivers to take that into account. Not all drivers are equally good in the rain. Verstappen is by far the best in the rain, but that is definitely not fun for new drivers. We will then see several pit stops. Yes, Leclerc makes a lot of mistakes. Ferrari must terminate their end-of-season contracts with this driver and Sainz. what could be worse? The team is poorly managed, ok, binotto is gone, fred vasseur is here. It is not easy, the engineering staff will be renewed.. but this will not happen with the pilots. You can't drive at normal performance if you stop using your vehicle at the maximum level. If necessary, your team can make a major move to verstappen etc. must submit an offer. You have nothing to lose anymore. Once, figo went to real madrid from barcelona and things were crazy. These things can happen even in F1.

Leclerc is still young, but he is now in a phase where he has become or is becoming an experienced driver. And with the Ferrari you also have a top car. Maybe he found the ideal racing line better than others, maybe his car was better than even Perez's car, whatever the reason was, he ended up being faster before the race as well, and easily showed that during the race. I guess we could start congratulating him on his championship for a third time already. He looks like the guy who may retire for a year or two when he is young and come back later on, that just feels like he is too easily winning titles. I doubt he would go for 8 titles, he would win maybe a bit more, go race some other thing, and come back later on to keep on winning titles again, or maybe on a much worse team to just have fun.

Max showed that he is a mature driver now completely different when he was crashing to his team mates and every one near him not that many years ago.In the interview after the race he said it clearly,I stayed out of trouble in the first lap and then I took each car one by one until I clearly was second.He said that they did think a lot about the strategy for these tires yesterday night and in the end it paid off,not for nothing though it was thanks to his extreme bravery,he was doing fast lap after fast lap even when his hard compounds were completely gone after 25 laps which was the winning move for the race.

Perez should have pushed much harder in the first stint but he wanted to conserve somewhat the tires to go and do more laps with them and this was the losing move for the race for him.

They changed the rule to get easier overtakes, ruining an equilibrated F1 for these cars with the hope to get closer cars and easier overtakes.

After 1 year we have the most dominating car of the decade and the only car that can overtake.

Verstappen definitely deserved to be selected the driver of the day after that great effort. We even saw him losing a place at the beginning of the race however it wasn't a big obstacle for him to climb so many places anyway. He has a very powerful car and he is such a competitive driver that it didn't take him too long to find himself in a rivalry with Perez for the lead. Verstappen is such a great driver at tyre saving and he was much better than Perez here.

You know that Perez is also very good at it but not the best as it seems. Verstappen was still able to open the gap more with Perez despite having older tyres than him until pitting. Maybe he was behind Perez after the pit but it wasn't a problem at all. It was just too hard for Perez to defend with 25-lap old hard tyres against fresh mediums.

But at least it was nice to see some overtakes among the other drivers in top 10. Still the best race is the Australian GP so far.

I think that any driver of the f1 can do a podium with this redbull

Even Latifi and mazepin could be on it.
If rbr can pass monaco with a podium the will end the season  with the most numbers of podium In a single season

Absolutely not entertaining at all,this season looks like an exact copy cat of of the 2009 season where Brawn GP had a car for another category and they won the Championship back then in the most boring of the ways,in fact I don't remember anymore boring season in F1 compared to that 2009.We have still time for this one to not become a 2009 again,we have 3 consecutive races in three consecutive weeks starting in 21 May and up and this is the point,the focal point where even in these three races we don't see any other car fighting Redbull it means we will have another super boring season like that of 2009.

The Honda factory team has registered their flagship rider (Marc Marquez) to race at the French MotoGP this week which will take place at the Le Mans circuit. Apart from that, the sanctions he previously received were also abolished after the Honda manufacturer made an appeal with the race organizers, meaning that Marc Marquez could join the race again without being burdened with sanctions such as the Long Laps Penalty. Hopefully there will be more exciting races this week at Le Mans France.
