Sorry, I misread your post. I'm using stratum.ozco.in:3333 and that is working. I was not using us.ozco.in:3333 so I don't know if that is working or not. Sam

Do you have a support page for your litecoin pool?
The hashrate is seriously wrong, and payouts etc are incorrect.
Can you give some help with that please?

Hi there,
yesterday, I registered at Ozcoin to give it a try. I use DGM, have entered a valid NMC payout address and turned off automatic Namecoin Exchange into Bitcoin, but I don't get any NMC. NMC Balance is still zero and also the NMC Round Credit is zero. Is there anything else I have to do to enable NMC mining? Thanks for any help in this matter.

Welcome back Graet! I'm the bloke from Sydney that spoke to you on the phone once.
Regarding WeExchange, is that still operational for withdrawals within Australia Graham?
As for the rest of us, I had a query. I noticed that the pools GH/s was droping on and off (halving every now and then). That got me spooked a bit, so I quickly looked around an logged into BTCGuild which I never connect to, as it has the largest pool that I know of. It's pool number seemed stable, but I noticed that their fees were higher (3.5% for PPLNS compared to Grahams/Ozcoins 3% (or 2% if you have it dropped). Even the PPS was 7 compared to Ozcoin at 5 when it was up and running, and I couldn't figure out why there are so many other pools with higher fees yet with more miners. Does any body else have a theory or is it just pure laziness?
Seeya all around.

before the recent troubles, we were at about 8.5 thash, which was more then 10% the network. also keep in mind that the majority of what you see on btc guild is ALL ASICMINER, which controls something in the neighborhood of 20thash right now. personally i love ozcoin. though i will admit that that logo of the roo with the bitcoin makes me hungry... i had a roo steak while in adelaide back in 2006. was great.

I started at ozcoin, and as it's the only australian owned server I'll stick with it too. Nice ping times too - not that it matters with stratum and high speed links, but from a geek point of view - yay! But I am still surprised though that the asic miners don't all move across too ozcoin - it's an extra 1.5% on dgm for example, and that adds up.

Are there problems atm? Hashrate is almost zero, few connected miners/workers, the webpage updates slow and unresponsive, and if it does, the numbers seem off. Although my miners are happily submitting to eustratum. Am i throwing away my shares, or is it a comms problem between web frontend and mining/database servers (again)? Srsly, i really like ozco because of "faith in humanity restored" after the recent troubles, but somethings fishy here... I'd really like a news or shoutbox post giving informations if there are troubles like ddos, even if it's only a link to here.
@veldrik: Those miners (the people, not the machines) have learned that it's best to set up miners and let them run, so they're not watching for weeks (like me) and not notice troubles. Also, i believe companies making good money with mining like asicminer do have an interest in that the pool runs flawlessly, and i think you agree that btcguild runs better than ozco, in terms of ddos-resistance, stats site showing live data and so on. It just feels smoother there.

Yesterday I changed back to ozcoin. But not running smoothly.
Switch back to the backup pool now.
But come back immediately when everything is fine
