Used to be the main explorer. and I see it is moving again. I guess someone paid for it. It's not synced though, give it some time.

So.... the only thing this team has launched (a block explorer) is currently down???  And some shadowy guy paid for another explorer with the same logo as the scam coin Silkcoin? Ohh how the plot thickens.. always a good sign to be moving backwards instead of forwards.. CMON!

Love you too  Kiss

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Stop spreading FUD. The dev team is hard at work to relaunch a dead coin. The least you can do is be appreciative that someone decided to work on this project for free. Also, give it some time I'm sure the dev team has something cooking for us momentarily.

What?? FUD?? Theres no working block explorer for silkcoin.. again! That aint no fud bro.these guys cant even keep a block explorer online how would anyone trust them with their funds?? This is some phucked up shit here

All i see is

http://peopleoflancaster.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/cry_baby_1_-_iStockphoto.png

Seriously the old temporary explorer is what you have to bitch about now?
And having people donate funds to keep the project alive is a bad thing ?

It wouldn't hurt to have some headache off the devs heads, besides it can only help speed up things a little, call it motivation or more funds to spend on graphic designers etc.

Besides, Silk is holding up surprisingly well while the  BTC price rise.

On another note while nobody is forcing you to pay anything, some people do donate by any means, if you'd like to do so to go for it.

Complains when a developer pumps out shitcoins and provides no support but then also complains when a developer takes their time to produce a non-shitcoin and provide support.

I am confused.......

Any idea why my coins stopped staking? I got my first reward and then it went back to "spendable" and left the staking part. Am I missing something?

Quite funny that this block explorer is on block ~8800 and producing blocks from just a few minutes ago. Almost as if someone has funded an explorer and relaunched a new blockchain. I did a search using the blockchain for the genesis hash of Silkcoin and no results showed. I will contact cryptoid and ask them to reset their explorer and sync from ours and use the blockchain.dat file provided.

EDIT: Contacted.

As far as I understood it depends also on how much staking weight you have. It seems there are lots of people staking on the network right now.

And yes, volume is holding. There are probably many people waiting silently in the shadows.

Someone would call them hyenas

So someone has created another coin 25 days ago called Silkcoin.

Also paid for a blockchain explorer on CryptoID.

Seems very pointless.

Not traded and only 14 or 18 addresses in total on the network.

traK do you have any ideas?
In any case im not concerned. SLK is not to be a stand alone coin, in other words this 'Silkcoin' chain will not be compatible with our future. It's just a waste of time, energy and resources.

If in any case a schism takes place between old and new bagholders, in which bagholders are forced to chose between Silkcoin and SLK. We should be able to do a double swap. It's a hassle but we need to look out for our investors:

Silkcoin(old) -> Silkcoin(new) -> SLK(our)

Of course the new chain would need to have an individual responsible for it, and he would need to cooperate to prevent double spending.

Wow can't believe someone would create another Silkcoin...  Perhaps malicious intent to confuse people?

We need to convert to SLK asap...

We have an infinite swapping period. Long time members might not get the message in time or act in misguidance. Let all that read this thread be warned by this. No one should feel pressured and act in haste.

We have an infinite swapping period, if you are uncertain wait until this is played out.

In the end i'm certain everyone will opt for SLK, its future is just too solid.  Grin

Within two weeks I will publish what the direction will be for SLK. Ending speculation about the importance of SLK to the Silk Network and explain why its techological prowess has no bearing at ALL.

Looks like Silkcoin will be swapped for silkcoin after all; not your corporate abomination called SLK.

May the best Silkcoin win.  Hahahahahaha

Oh by the way... ever get access to the Silkcoin Github?

*applause*
