2017 Year of the Bitcoin

Yes why so? Who decided that 2017 is gonna be the year of bitcoin? Well, I just hope in this year the price for bitcoin will get super high and we all will be rich

Probably not , 2016 is the year that is going to either kill bitcoin or make it live forever . 2016 is all about the halving block reward with one way or another and that's going to decide the future . (Either it's going high and people keep using bitcoin or they will panic and sell everything they got if it start going low ).

I hope so because 2016 has been pretty mediocre so far.

The year 2017 will depend on the year 2016 if this year goes good then it will follow the same in next year too, so lets hope that we see higher price in this year.

This way we can expect year of bitcoin every 3.5 years at every time halving occurs the following yer going to be year of bitcoin. This might be very much positive thing for all bitcoiners basically. At the same time, when there are a lot of new people coming in to bitcoin ecosystem, then be must turn into expecting a year of bitcoin in almost all the years.

if nothing happens I think the prices will probably decrease, because there will probably be a dump, where some people are already panic buying will sell. they will not lose faith, bitcoin will always increase, without halving though.

2017 will not be the year of the bitcoin in my opinion, I honestly think this year will be the real year of the bitcoin due to the events that are happening.

In my view, only the new lifetime higher prices will make a year as a year of bitcoin. There is no need of any other requirement to define for setting terms to declare a year as most favorable year for bitcoin. Because prices the most significant characteristics for bitcoin.

maybe, but i think it can also hurt bitcoin too. mostly because if there is a sudden rise (or a bubble) that will burst soon and there will be a big fall afterwards which can not be avoided. and that looks bad on the charts. it will make bitcoin look like a pump and dump to the untrained eyes.
