@tupsu. How did you get to those links. I don't see them on front page. I also tried to click page two. Also s7 just drop in price and s9 no longer listed hmmmm. Ups still holding s9's in Kentucky. Little aggravated on that. Out of my hands tho Anyone with suggestions Best regards D57heinz In the top menu => Support => After-Sales Repair Ahh they moved it. I had found that parts list before but looked for it again recently and couldn't find it. Now you have to go to where you indicated, log in, and then click the "buy parts" menu item. Which goes here: https://shop.bitmain.com/product.htm?parts=partsahhh i see.. Thanks for the info.> i have yet to get anything on the order i made at bitmainwarranty.. Ill see if that processes before i order 1.. I would like 2 on hand. Thanks again Best Regards d57heinz

Only critical one is chip temp. Anything under 100C is fine, 95 or less ideal but you need reasonable ambient to do that. Not great but I have a b1 running at highest die temp of 100-102C, works fine. Danger point starts around 110, Bitmain usually specs an absolute max junction (die) temp of 125C

I just lol'ed when looking at bitmain website, no S9 listing at all, they're trying to create a scarcity when there's none exists, they have thousands of S9's loaded up and ready to ship. Let's see if they actually RAISE the price for the next batch. They're so sketchy, it's not even funny. You know they don't have to play this stupid game, trying to fool people into thinking their S9 miners are so scarce. Epic failure on bitmain. They're turning into a scammy company. Shame on bitcointalkers for enabling them.

Huh? How is it an epic failure on their part? They have a product for which there is a clear demand. They are charging what they want and people are still buying them. Clearly there are people willing to pay the asking prices, as evidenced by the info that @philipma1957 has posted regarding the BTC addresses used for payment. Just because you and a number of other people think the S9s should be cheaper doesn't make it so. If you are not happy with the prices, just hodl your coins and wait. Until there are new miners available from other companies that rival the S9, or the demand for the S9 dries up, Bitmain will continue with prices at the current level. Cheers, - zed

I think making the legs taller, might further help improve ventilation. A short, portable fan placed close to the legs will also ease things up a bit.
no the longer legs wont make any difference. i have tried running these vertically without legs on a metal bakers rack and the temp differences were the same. also longer legs means less stability because the center of gravity will be higher and no one wants their miner tipping over. longer legs means a wider base to bring back sturdiness and will use more PLA material and when there is no benefit to longer legs that equals uneeded waste. not to mention the cost of the kits will go up to offset the time and material needed to print them up. a box fan wont help air flow either because unlike the s5's these units are enclosed completely so running a box fan will just waste more electricity and you wont see really any gain from doing that.....not with the s5+/s7/s9 miners at least since they all use the same design. Sooooooooo no one wants to order any vertical leg kits for their miners ehh?? shoot me a pm if you do

Most of the time your clock is too high for the psu. So if you are at freq 600 change to freq 593 and see if the x drops off

Most of the time your clock is too high for the psu. So if you are at freq 600 change to freq 593 and see if the x drops off after restarting it went off but why it came it is because i used cooler(air cooler in which water moves from up to down so cool air comes) near inlet fan to maintain temp ?

Water droplets are getting into your S9, better stop using the "air cooler in which water moves from up to down", your risking shorting electrical components inside your precious S9.

So it is ok to run only cooler without movement of water just only like fan ?
