If you are in the US and determine you need to RMA - my advice is to forget it.  Contact bitmainwarranty.com and send them your miner to fix.  You'll have to pay for it, but on the plus side you will actually get it back.  I sent a dead S7 board to Hong Kong per their instructions.  They claim it was never received.  It's a black hole over there.  To me it's actually worth it to spend the extra $ to buy the miners from bitmainwarranty.com.
Even if the Hong Kong facility repaired and returned the hardware, the lost time mining makes it near useless. IMO

It is now June 20th in China the first day that batch 2 shipping should start.

Has anyone received shipping info for their batch 2 gear?

I would suggest to contact them by email directly better than raising tickets.

I always get fast response by emails than tickets.

Nope, nothing yet.

As a follow up to this  it is 10:30 Am June 20th in China.  So batch 2 shold be heading out the door has anyone received notice on batch 2?

Amazing not so much that batch 3 shipped ahead of batch 2 for the extra 100 usd.  But that they did not offer all of us batch 2 buyers the upgrade for the 100 dollars.

So once again they sold around 1000 batch 2's I am sure  may of us would have sent them the 100 for faster shipping.  They tossed away a lot of money by not offing the upgrade to us.

Well hopefully they send us the batch 2 on the 20th and don't hold it until the 30th.

This time I gave a 2 day run (48 hours) to Kano.is Pool.  During the run the miner itself did very well getting a GH/S AVG of 13,994T so very close to 14T with operating during the 2 day run.  Again it did it with very low hardware errors just as it has operated with other pools..  The pictures below show the results from mining on Kano.is:

This is rather large but is most likely the info most will want to see it is the shift graph: http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m25/notlist3d/S9/Kano-Shifts-2d_zps0xjkx0rc.jpg
Here is a full sized version of worker page: http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m25/notlist3d/S9/worker-2d_zpsihzpy0ry.jpg.jpg

Below is brief version of the worker page (shows a little high on pool side but was still a great run):

Bitmain it is the 20th, have you sent us our B2 miners yet or are you selling them for 200$ more on a B4 flash-sale?
Lucky I paid worthless fiat and not precious BTC

My batch 3 gets 12.5 Th downclocked to 593 and even then I have to restart cgminer several times for one of the boards to get a decent hashrate.  Luckily I can tell within a minute or so if the board is going to get a decent rate but it kind of sucks that it is hit or miss like that.  If I don't restart cgminer to get that board working well it hashes about 1.1 Th lower.

The config page still has the shutdown at 80 degree option and the chips are always over 80 so I think we can conclude that the temps reported on previous miners (S7, etc...) were PCB temps.  I am getting high 90's (like 98-100) on the chips with the PCB's reporting upper 60's (like 68-69).

Set the fans to use custom settings and set them to 100%. The chips run *a little* cooler.
Oddly enough, on my b1 and b3 the noise is actually better. (lower)
Wonder it it has to do with the motors in the fans eg 4 pole vs 6 or more?

The b1 I downclocked to 618 and the b3 is at stock 600, both happy so far.

watch for heat creep  Mine tend to creep to as high as 75-105 unless I clock to 550  vs 650.

much of this issue is summer temps in the solar array shed.  we are getting fans set up and will change the venting setup.

this will fix heat issues. and we will boost the  clock back up.
