Giving up gambling is not easy

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.

When addiction comes up in the behavior of the gambler, this will be the beginning of his being greed in the games which can lead him to a full pledge addict gambler. And that is not good anymore, that most of the time a gambler attitude become's not normal in anything.

Yeah I agree. Becoming addicted to gambling is the most dangerous thing. Greedy is the main effect and if you can not control your greedy as well as your temper, you will soon trap in the gambling circle and there will be no way to escape.

So better quit while we can, when we get addicted to something we get too focus on it that we able to give up more things important to us that we end up ruining our lives. Better let ourselves have disciplined.

I don't think giving up would be a solution as pf course one day or another he will return to gambling and will get addicted. The best solution is to set a strategy that I'm allowed to gamble this much per day or set a timer that after this time whatever happens I have to stop. I agree that if a person gets disciplined he will easily be able to gamble and also not get addicted to it

But definitely you need to admit that you need help first. Gmbling addicts rarely know themselves to be addicted to gambling.  They often sort to denial and keep on saying excuses.  That makes it hard to give up gambling.  But once you knew you are addicted and admit it, as the earlier posts said, it will be easier for you to be rehabilitate and quit gambling along the way.

Some people are not like that, there are some that are an all or nothing kind of person, they cannot do something in a moderate way, that is why sometimes is better to quit for good than to try to resist the urge of gambling as you would like and begin the whole process again.

when we give suggestions to other it is very easy, but when we pass from such kind of issues then we understand the reality it is very difficult to stop gambling if you are addicted. not a single addicted person ever ready to stop gambling. he want to continue because he is always sure that he can make money in gambling if he will play again. i think less than 10% addicted gambler may be succeeded in quitting gambling, while the rest stop gambling and then start it again after some time.

no way if you did not put a lot of effort enough, you have to fully commited on what you want, in this case you want to giving up gambling then do whatever necessary to do , for example give the whole money to someone you trust.

Anyway, I think there is a way to quit it. It may not be a sudden thing but anyone can work it out slowly and get some help. Usually, people who quit gambling does come back to it if they just quit outright. Doing it gradually helps, like what I did. I just made a schedule and limited my bank roll. Another thing I did was to convince myself that gambling will not help me and the money I am gambling is for my child. That really helped me to stop over gambling.

its good example and its not just for him but its good for me too and i think we can do this to save our money to not to use just for playing gambling. we should learn and make discipline with this so in future we can reduce our activity in gambling games and finally we can quit from gambling and leave the gambling site. its really need hard work and we should have strong will to do this otherwise we always fail and will come back in other days.
