Relatively new user and miner of BTC. Currently using a single FPGA miner at ~800MH/s. Hoping to explore BTC more thoroughly and, as my namesake would suggest, try my hand at winning it big.

yeah I'm pulling about 1400Mhash with my two 7970's on the bitminter client.

even with the ungodly difficulty -- the free electricity means I can make some extra cash per month doing nothing Smiley

What's really insane is the number of alternatives/spin-offs that are already out there.

Namecoin, Litecoin, Freicoin, etc. Looks like it's a matter of time until we see how these others fare in the digital market. Interesting stuff.

I'm new to this forum, yet i've been mining (small 365mH/s) with Slush for a year now.

My setup just benefitted from a free video card recently and I'm now hashing at ~724mH/s.  Until today's hickup, I was making a happy $4 a day in profit.  This might not be much for those who mine professionally, but for someone who was looking at making a media server and I now have a media server that makes money, it's pretty good.

That's me.   Tongue

Hey fellas,

I'm a 28 year old mechanical engineer for the US ARMY.  I accepted BTC into my life about 1 year ago and I couldn't be happier with the current outcome.

I'm purchase an Avalon 65 GH/s miner from batch 2 and I am eagerly awaiting for it to arrive.

I live in the Greater Detroit Area in SE Michigan, USA

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.
