Hey everyone,

I'm still new to the whole concept of Bitcoins, but I'm trying to learn some more by looking around on this forum.

Hi guys!

I just signed up to this forum to respond to a Project Development thread, since I've spent the last 5 hours forking one of the apps there.. Then it turned out I couldn't notify the author of my commits without signing up. So yeah, I did, and now I'm sitting out the 4 hour wait  Roll Eyes

I'm a 20 year old CS student with an interest in cryptography and maths, but will most likely be contributing the Project Development section of the board. That's where the fun stuff happens, I guess  Cheesy

Wow, it's quite amazing how many people say hello here just for the sake of getting out of the newbie section.

This post seems to somewhat defeat the purpose of the 5 post rule, but I guess this 'hello' spamming would occur anyway, and there is always the 4 hour rule to help out Smiley

Anyway, the main thing I wanted to say was:

Hello.

I've been lurking the forum for some time, and how now decided to register because I ordered an Avalon #3. I've done some GPU mining in the past but it didn't go very well. (i wasn't so profitable) Smiley

Greetings everyone!

I've been lurking the forum for some time now.

I am a BitCoin enthusiast and came to the conclusion that every now and then I really want to participate in this forum, but unfortunately I have to get out of the newbiesection first to really spread some useful thoughts/ make a point/ participate.

English is not my native language, so my eloquence might not apply properly.
So please be gentle Wink

Cheers

Hi,

I entered three months ago in the bitcoin world. I  have electronics and crypto background and I will post soon a proposal to lay down an ASIC-based bitcoin miner. Serious proposal, no scam.

Well that is highly convincing.  I would like to buy this ASIC now for however much BTC you want and I will wait for an indeterminate amount of time for a product that does not exist.

I was not trying to convince anybody with this post.
I will write the proposal and you will have the opportunity to consider if you are in or out. I followed the situation and I know that there are a lot of scammers around so it will be a little hard to convince people that my intentions are good.
I prefer that after posting the proposal you guys consider me unable to do it than a scammer.
