Hi, I am very new at this. I dont have strong hardware for mining, just some 7750 gfx, which can mine at 130 mhash, and thats when I am not playing WoW Wink

I am learning a lot each day, but basically what I hope to get out of mining is to cover my monthly betting budget of 20 dollars, so I dont have to use my CC Smiley I know, lame Tongue

Maybe later I will go for something better, and more meaningful, but now its just a curiosity.

Also if anyone has a pointer of what would currently be a good GFX to make a couple of coins a month, let me know. Like 2-3 coins for starters.

Power is currently no concern, but that will change Sad

Thanks and Happy Easter to all that celebrate it...

To DA Moon!!! donations accepted >.< 38nvHaNqF5nv4ifhUyq9CChnBmRs2DSv4r

Hi all.
I'm newbie on the site, but I'm playing with btc and ltc from more than year ago. I lost money, I won money...
Was trying to buy an Avalon, but I missed the oportunity (on batch 2 - I hasn't 75 BTC for batch 3). So now I'm mining LTC.
Regards.

P.S.: my native language is spanish, so sorry for my very bad english

Hey all!

I've been watching BTC since the original paper and only recently jumped in. I'm looking for a great ride here and hoping for the best.

Cheers,

Renegade

Hello,
When my bitcoin hoard appreaciates enough, I'm going to emigrate to Cambodia to start an internet cafe with its own mining operations, exchange and IT tutoring business.  When I open for business in a few years, I expect you all to come on holiday, forget travellers cheques, bring some bitcoin and you can change it for the local funny money at chez anarchomedia.  Cheesy

See ya

Whatever. And no you haven’t been in bitcoin since 2010. Plus if you really feel the way you do. Then sell. Have conviction. If not keep pounding sand.

I'm the founder of http://freenetproject.org/.  Freenet was the first anonymous P2P network, and the first decentralized P2P network, started way back in 1999.  We were also among the first open source projects to accept Bitcoin donations, that was over 2 years ago (you can send donations to 1966U1pjj15tLxPXZ19U48c99EJDkdXeqb).  Freenet remains under active development.

Obviously given my background with Freenet I'm very interested in anonymous P2P systems (Freenet being the first), and the implications of Bitcoins are fascinating.

I recently acquired a ModMiner Quad, mainly to do some machine learning experiments, but in the meantime I'm experimenting with some mining, just for fun - not profit (would have been a lot more profitable to spend the $1.2k on Bitcoins back when I bought it Wink.

If you really are the founder of Freenet, you should post in the whitelist request thread.
