Hey there, I'm just a guy. Heard about Bitcoin a few months ago and wanted to buy some, but didn't. Kind of kicking myself now, heh.

Having fun learning all about Bitcoin, and working piece by piece on an instructional video that is similar to the famous "What is Bitcoin?" video, but with lower production values and more content and information.

Also interested in starting my own Bitcoin business once I've gained a little more rep and trust than the 6 posts I'm currently sitting on. Tongue

That's about all, hope to see you around!

Hello Everyone :-)  Just trying to stop being a NOOB....

NOTE: Even though my username is bitcoin-rigs.com, I let the domain run out and now it is owned by someone trying to sell it for rip-off prices.  I am not the one selling it and I have no control of it :-(

Hello there,

my name is JP, and i'm from Belgium.

Learned about bitcoin through a friend, and i think it has unlimited potential at this stage.

Recently started mining , both with GuiMiner and the browser version (bitcoinplus).

Bit disappointing results, because apparently i have an Nvidia card, which arent too great for mining...(unless someone knows a way to possibly improve it?).

The BTC are slowly trickiling in (or, wel, the 0.00001 BTC to be honest), but i'm having a great time exploring everything atm Smiley

Hi there, I can recommend you mineco.in pool. This has only recently been started, as a result the rewards are quite high there compared to other pools I've tried. Of course the hash power is also limited (not a lot of users yet), so it can take a bit longer to finish a block then on other pools too.

  Hey.
  Here' my first question.
Currently, I'm set up on slush's server.
CPU only.  Using a cruddy old dell laptop.
  Averaging 375 khash/s.
Am I one there?  Is it working?
How do I know if it's working?
I don't expect to make any serious money, but I am curious to see how the technology works.
  Will I make 0.00000005 for a day's work?

   Thanks in Advance,
        b.

I need to get me out of this newbie joint!

I am up 4 BTC from these Double Trouble type Ponzi schemes Smiley
+4 from DT3, +4 from "High stakes double trouble", -3 from triple trouble (that thing was a bust)

And -1 from "2.25x trouble": http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=21262.0;topicseen
But it just started! Join in folks, and gamble! I fully expect to get a payout, so I'll be at +5.25 BTC after that.

Yo, I'm me. Originally I came up with this handle to separate my bitcoin identity from other net identities but it took on a life of its own, and now I'm trying to work out a beer delivery service in major Canadian cities where payment is solely made in bitcoins. Thanks a lot, bitcoins, now I have no free time again, lol.

I've been lurking the scene for a while, now I discovered that I've been newbiefied and I guess this is my ticket outta here.

I'm curious as to how serious you are about this. How much money do you plan to invest in this?

I'm pretty serious about it, but as it stands I'm a newbie to running a full blown business like this. I have a full time day job that gives me lots of funds to dump into this, but I'm looking for business partners, couriers in the major cities, etc.

I'm willing to invest as much as it takes, honestly. I really want to make something bitcoin-related that interests me as a person, and beer interests me, heh heh.
