Please whitelist me...

I am mining 3.65 GH/s on BTCGuild and would like to post a feature request (sort workers alphabetically) on the BTC Guild forum thread.

Thanks,
Mike

I've been lurking on the forums for quite some time and in particular I am a recent law graduate who would like to contribute to some of the discussions on Tax questions regarding bitcoin usage as well as the conflicts between the SEC (Securities Law) and the use of GLBSE.

I've also been mining both Bitcoins and Namecoins and have used both the GUI client as well as the command line server.  I've mined solo (no success, but just to play with it) as well as on a half-dozen pools.

I have a background in computer science and database design and feel that I have much to contribute to the community.

Thank you,
jlkershner

I'm a seasoned investor looking to post several topics amid the Economics board. I've had hands-on experience with tech start-ups and have been watching the bitcoin market for several weeks now. I understand the economy side of things and the technical side of things almost as well. I've bought some hardware and am mining soon. The first thing I've done when I wake up for the past week is check bitcoin charts. I'm set on bitcoin 101.

This is my first reply because I'd sooner get involved in nitty gritty discussions.

I've got quite a few ideas that I'll want to talk about once I'm admitted into non-noob boards. Thanks!  Grin

I'll be honest here - I'm new to this bitcoin community, but I've spend some decent time learning how everything from a financial and technical aspect works, and also use my 4850 24/7 to mine coins :p

I have a few genuine ideas for the future development of this P2P economy, so I would love to be able to enter and talk around the other boards - perhaps sooner than waiting 4 hours online as I already fulfilled the post requirement, and I also think a few of my last posts are pretty helpful and perhaps even knowledgeable! If I'm wrong, then it's not a problem to wait 2 more hours and ~35 minutes Cheesy

Thanks!

I'm someone who made some substantial trades on MtGox shortly before trading was halted, and would like to talk about what happened. I can verify my identity through IRC or other means if you'd like! Smiley

i posted in another thread in the mining section before this "newbie" section was implemented. there was a thread that people saying 4 GPU is the max you can use in windows, but i want to post it in to correct them that it's now 8 GPUs, not 4 anymore.

Edit: Many people posting here have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements. If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you don't need to post here.

So this is four hours since registering, four hours since the fifth post or four hours total time logged in?
Ok, just read the answer. That would be two and a half hour to spend here. To late for today...

So I request to get on the whitelist because I'd like to post on topic to the thread in forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=4667.0
There I just want to write whom I hope to convince in using BitCoins  Cheesy

Thanks,
Harry

Hm, seems my arguments weren't good enough or there was no admin available.
Anyway. I'll try again tomorrow. That would be enough for the four hour limit, so never mind I've asked Smiley

Hi, As stated into my introduction post I am an experienced coder and I'm glad to join this community. I'm also aware of the forums rules and I want to be more implicated into the bitcoin community. I already launched an escrow service: http://www.btcrow.com, In fact this is the first escrow service to protect both buyer and seller, cause the payment can be disputed and my service will assist people to make sure they make safe purchases.

I need reputable members here to test out my service to validate my service to gain trust. I also have other project in development and want to have more access in order to trade into the marketplace forum.

If you need further informations from me you can contact me without problems.

Thanks in advance.

Since posting doesn't seem to lift the newbie-flag so that I can post in other sections; is it possible to get whitelisted to be able to contribute to this site?

I'd like to get out of here please and into the security discussion.  I work for a local university in the finaid department securing the front facing servers there.  I'm familiar with C++, C, Java, LISP along with Windows Server 2003 (vaguely), *BSD, and RHEL.

This is ridiculous. Don't you guys have anything better to do with your lives than looking at these newbie posts and trying to figure out who is for real.

It is like a mud game, where you are supposed to spend time in the starting city before you gain five levels or something.

Anyways. Here is my application to your glorious forum:

I started mining bitcoins end of april, I have a rig which does about 2.5 GH/s. I found 3 blocks solo, found 5 for deepbit. Tried a few other pools like eligius, contiuum etc. Ended up mining solo again until the next diff increase (in about 4 days). I also did a Turkish translation for some guy for 25 BTCs. I have been following the forum for a while. I never post. because I am not talkative. I find most of the remarks quite stupid. I don't like human beings in general. But sometimes there are situations I have an insight that I want to share.

So. If you don't want to be subjected 3 more of these kinds of posts... let me out.

Hello,

I would like to be whitelisted. I am not a troll and uses this forum for information&news. I've been here for about 1 week and mine about 10 bitcoins so far with 2 GUI, ATI 5870 and 6870 cards, a total of 700 Mhash/s. I am very late to the game and very sad about it. How can I not find this out sooner!? Anyway, please whitelist me. Thank you!
