Hi there,
I'd like to be whitelisted, please. I've been mining for a couple of days now, and have a little issue with the deepbit pool and I'd like to be able to post under the appropriate topics. So far I've mined with slush, swepool and deepbit just to test them, as I've already ordered 3 6950s and wanted to test some pools before I get more cards.
Regards, progre55

I've been lurking the forums for quite a while and I'm definitely not a noob when it comes to bitcoins. I've installed Ubuntu on my mining rig and I'm having trouble with a script for phoenix that was posted in the forums. Would like a ask for help over there.

Please whitelist me for posting beyond newb section.
I have an important topic that needs to be discussed in the deepbit.net thread. Im a mtgox, tradehill, libertyreserve member as well.
I have invested close to $2000 on a newly built computer system along with x4 5870s that are working 24/7 mining bitcoins.
My intention is to support the bitcoin community and ask insightful questions as well as engage in discussions of meaningful topics.
I already have a very interesting talking point that I believe will greatly benefit the community, which I will begin with when I am able to post on whitelisted status.
Please help me.
sincerely, Ren
Edit by Maged: Could you provide some examples of talking points you'd like to make?

Hi, I spent several hours in this forum without having a username. Now I'd like to post a link to my recently launched Bitcoin-related website ("arbitrage opportunities"). Please whitelist my account. Thanks in advance.

Hi folks, I'm a long time anonymous forum lurker but recently made some headway and wanted to share my work on a Cacti template for BTC Guild and realized new users couldn't post. Here are a few teaser graphs from my CPU miner I have been using while the 6990s are on order. Note: Some of these graphs do not have a full 24 hours of data, as I have only just turned on polling: User Stats USWest Pool Speed Total All Pool Active Workers Total All Pool Hash Rate Total All Pool Round Shares Total All Pool Round Time Worker Round Worker Total

I am new to Bitcoins, But I do work online fulltime.. I am interested in accumulating many bitcoins by purchasing from others.
If you just goto google and type in my username, you will see that I am everywhere with a very good online reputation. I am a JrVIP at BHW and also Jrvip at MMD.
I would like to be able to PM and post to sellers of bitcoins in the marketplace. I plan on making a couple purchases from reputable members first, and I will pay them first and after they have cleared the money then I would expect the Bc's to me sent to me.. I understand I have to build a REP here first.
Thanks, sciborg

Newish to bitcoins and a long time merchant on ebay and amazon and would like to possibly branch out into bitcoins.
Goal is to eventually accept bitcoins but still watching/learning trends/ vast swings in prices which would make it more difficult.
I have t0 learn to earn!
thanks

sry for posting this here but i didnt find any way to cantact the admins if this is resolved, please just delete this thread. me and some other bitcoiners created a new irc channel on freenode called #bitcoin-charity yesterday. we want to get a project up and running which deals with charity donations, microcredits and possibly more. therefore we want to discuss this in this thread: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=22952.0i'd like to friendly ask if my newly created account could have post powers in this thread only. thank you very much in advance!

Hi, I would like to discuss some hardware I found on the Mining/Hardware thread.
I have been following developments in mining with GPU FPGA/ASIC and would like to get opinions on another multicore platform.
Thx

Hello I recently found out that users with less than 5 posts can't post outside the newbie forums, wich i think its ok. I am relatively new to mining (been doing it for a few weeks now), im considerably good with technology and computers, and by now i have 3 mining rigs, both with windows and linux, and i have a "support oriented" personality, so i think being able to help others comes easy for me. If i can "jailbroken" ( ) earlier, good, if not, freedom will eventually come. thx.

This whole currency is about openness and against censorship. Yet we are stuck here in a newbie section nobedy really cares about. And that only because we are not among the 'early adopters' (at least from a information POV).
What does this regulation generate except work (moderators) and frustration.
There is always a technical/social solution to spamming I guess...
