Hi, my name is Christian and I would like to get out of here.

I have a fair share of overclocking experience, however I lack BTC mining knowledge and I have been reading around for many days on this forum. I would like helping others with OC tips in exchange for BTC mining tips  Cheesy I have many questions, but will not spam and promise to use the "search"-function before starting unnecessary threads.

I´m not a forum-noob and I am well-aware of forum rules and such.

Best regards

Christian.

Hi,
I've made over 5 posts and had more than 4 hours online. It won't let me out. I have already been doing some trading and have been doing alot of reading over the past couple weeks. I would like to be able to post in the regular forum please.

Newbie question: how do you unsubscribe from a topic (i.e.: this one) to avoid seeing new replies in the "show new replies to your posts" page.

Cheers,

I've been reading the forums for quite a while now, but freshly registered. I'd like to contribute to the "Modular FPGA miner" thread in "Development & Technical Discussion", please let me post there.

There is a newbie forum about bitcoinexchange.cc also but it would be nice to get some of the warnings about recent unreliability onto their main thread. I requested whitelist 24 hours ago but at this point I will patiently wait for the 5 post /5 hours to get me out of newbie purgatory. It would have been nice to have less barriers to the negative feedback this guy is building up.

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=22237.0 Bitcoinexchange.cc feedback in newbie forum

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=6223.0 Bitcoinexchange.cc feedback for grown ups.

If a non newb could please post the newbie link into the main forum I think that would be helpful for many of us.

Long time lurker.

I'd like to comment on a transaction that I have in progress with another member.  I specifically would like to reply to this message:  http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=6223.msg281387#msg281387 (and maybe another one).

Thanks

I'm trying to generate my own private/public key pairs, and have a question about that. See http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=23764.0
IRC is a bit dead at the moment, so I figured I'd try the forum, but the newbie rule is restricting that.

I could repost the thread in the appropriate forum if my restriction is lifted, or one of the mods can move it.

Do I have to request to be whitelisted here? Or does it happen automatically after five posts?

If you have an immediate need to be allowed into the forum beyond, please post your request here. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. You must provide evidence that shows that you understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie would or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Try to be as specific as possible.

Much obliged.

Edit: Many people posting here have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements. If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you don't need to post here.

Hey, I'd like to get out of here as I want to start participating in the bitcoin community, not just the markets. I have bought a good amount of bitcoins on bitcoinmarket before they stopped paypal. Also, I am thinking of starting an ActiveSync Exchange email service for 1 BTC a month. Full exchange accounts, etc. I haven't done it yet and I need a good name for it but ya.

Also, there's a Dirt 3 key offer that I might want.

It's great to finally make an account, and honestly, I've been telling everyone to get on board, as it's the future of the financial world. I have no doubt about that.

It happens automatically, but you need 1 hour and 50 minutes more logged in time. That being said, you qualify for preemptive whitelisting, so that won't matter for you anymore.

Hi there,

I have been following the concept of crypto-currencies for several years, and just recently Bitcoin itself.  (And more generally I have had an interest in cryptography for some time.) I have already chatted with many people on the freenode Bitcoin related channels, and have even set up a mining rig for shits and grins. (Looked at a rack server enclosure today--in case I get really serious)  However, I was unaware of any sort of postcount that was required before I could post and interact within the bitcoin community.  Please consider this my request to engage others critically in the bitcoin community.  Most likely I will post/ask questions in the Economy area, as this is where the success of bitcoin will rise or fall I imagine.

Thank you,
QuantumQrack

Hello,

I am new to this forum, but a pretty experienced BTC user.  I am putting finishing touches on a website that will allow BTC users to shop using their bitcoins (Amazon style).  Would like to post here to let the community know about this way of spending their bitcoins.

Hello,
I've been reading this forum for last month. I haven't registered yet, since "read-only-mode" was more than enough. But now I've faced a problem that only question in Development board could solve.

It's about jgarzik's pushpool and it's binary protocol. I'm writing Qt-based client, which can't get through LOGIN step. I've been puzzling whole day and still no result.

I belive someone in dev-board can help me to figure out what's wrong with my code.

Obviously, i can't help myself out using newbie's forum, so please whitelist me.

Hello, Might I be allowed to escape this forum? I wish to gather greater information on creating a pool, And I wish to assist others in other forums, Aswell as explain the differing services I am willing to commit for bitcoins in forums in which I will actually be requested to commit these acts.

I'm trying to get pushpool and some other infrastructure-related components squared away for a project I'm working on. It'd be immensely helpful if I could interact with folks on the appropriate boards... I've actively contributed patches via github, etc. Thanks for the consideration...

Edit by Maged:
Could you provide some more information? Perhaps you could link one of the patches you've done on Github?

I would like to post a bitcoin bounty for the wp-e-commerce plugin for bitcoin of 10 BTC.  This is topical as there is a post that bumped up there today talking about how the wp-e-commerce plugin doesn't work.

How "invested" am I in bitcoin?  I've been lurking here for some weeks.  I run 2 to 3 Ghash of miners ... currently in btcguild, but I have also mined in eligius.  You'll find me as "DaveCanoe" on many of the IRC channels and I've had lengthy discussions with luke-jr on #eligius.  I (as of right now) have trades active on mtgox, trade hill and b7.  I have also talked with trade hill about being a CAD currency converter ... although who knows where that will go.

So I think that should justify being a non-newbie ... especially the need to post for the bounty --- I assume that someone would like to claim that Smiley.
