It seems that my timer stopped counting. I've been at 3 Hours and 24 Minutes for a while now.
The other day I bought 4 Radeon 5830s, and they wouldn't fit in three of the computers I have, so I'd like an opportunity to sell my spares to other members in the Marketplace forum.

If you have an immediate need to be allowed into the forum beyond, please post your request here. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. You must provide evidence that shows that you understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie would or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Try to be as specific as possible.
Much obliged.
Edit: Many people posting here have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements. If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you don't need to post here.
I certainly don't know more than the average newbie, but I was hoping to sell a few things to earn some bitcoin. Edit by Maged: What are you thinking of selling?

I have been around for some time, active in #eligius am well rated in the #bitcoin-otc WOT, have a low user number on the leaked mtgox password file. Been using bitcoin's for over six months, most of the time just don't have any good reason to post, so i don't. I am not sure what I can say to convince you, thanks.

Hi, I want out of here. I own bitcoins. I had almost 100 posts and was a victim of the mt gox hack so I started over with a new account. Presently, I am trying to recover my account at mybitcoin. There is a thread on this topic I would like to post in. Please let me out. thanks.
Edit by Maged: Without any evidence of who you were, we can only process your request based on merit, like we do for everyone else. Additionally, we look down on people making multiple accounts. As such, your request was denied.
My userID and password are now everywhere on the internet. Unfortunately, I used that userID a lot (not my password, fortunately.) Any diligent researcher could piece together a great deal of information about me now that so much has been made public and I have learned a big lesson. That is why I have abandoned my former account, so please don't "look down" upon me. I'm trying to clean up a mess that wasn't entirely of my making. I'm just trying to get help on the board so I can get control over my Mybitcoin account and the funds therein. Would you please reconsider?
By the way, how many posts do I have to make to get out of here without begging? I thought it was 5.

Finally, I think I am out of here! What else is the requirement past 5 post and 4 hrs? I've hit both of those and I'm still listed as a newbie. I would have liked to of been let in days ago, so I could both comment and ask questions on mining pools and rrdtool/rrdgraph software but the forums don't allow that type of interaction. What else does one need to do after the 5 post and 4 hour threshold to be come a 'member'?
Thanks

Interested in selling my article writing service to website owners here. I didn't see this type of service in the market, and I'm sure there are some people here that need good content for their sites. I'm a native USA writer with about two years of experience on other forums. I'd like to start selling to Bitcoin users, so I registered here. PM me for a link to another forum thread which contains many references. Edit by Maged: I'm afraid that I will have to take you up on your offer instead of whitelisting you immediately, since you didn't provide enough information. PM sent.

I'm hoping to get in on the free coins on offer in the "Show your firstbits" thread at http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24514.0. Though this is my first post here, my comments at http://lesswrong.com/user/loqi can serve as evidence of my civility. I'm also user 5445 in the leaked Mt Gox database, if the whitelisting gods have a copy of it and care to email me to prove that I'm not just grabbing a name from the list. Thanks in advance! (Conditional on my whitelisting, naturally )

Hello.
I'm having problems running Phoenix 1.4 with the latest PhatK kernel and I'd like to be able to ask for help with this. I can run Pheonix 1.4 with poclbm fine, but strange guiminer gets better rates. I've been mining on bitcoin.mining.cz for a couple of weeks now and I'd like to try getting the best out of my card. I need support to do that however.

Edit by Maged: What are you thinking of selling?Hi Maged, I think I sent you a PM last night. The more I read and learn, the more I like the idea of opening a Bitcoin Bookstore. My inventory is a bit small right now, but I'd like to open it up and see how much interest there is.

I would like to be allowed into the rest of the forum.... I'm not really a newbie I have been mining for a while now and using linux for years and years. I also do some web design, and programming in a few different languages. I think that I will be a help to the forum community... Nobody will get mad at me for spammin! promise! (I'll even help out when I can too) Thanks

I would say at the very least that something about the "newbie" restrictions needs to be added in the user profile area. I only just recently stumbled across the newbies section further down in the topic list discovering why I wasn't able to message anyone or post anything anywhere else. At least movie the newbie section to the top of the forum listing. I've been looking at the forum page for weeks and only just now happened to see the newbie section with its helpful note as to why I've basically been locked out of the forums until now.

Hi, I would also like to be whitelisted. I have forked bitcointools ( https://github.com/harrigan/bitcointools) and have a technical question regarding the hashing of previous transactions. Martin.
