Understand the restrictions.  Wish the trolls would go find some other forums to harass!  Smiley

Someone needs to build a tl;dr for the valuable information in this thread.  I'm not gonna read a hundred and fourty-four pages worth of posts to find out if these delays have proven effective...

Wow... it took me a long time to figure out why I couldn't find a "Post" link... I guss that is the point... Make someone poke around, learn about the forums, etc. before actually getting involved. Seemed annoying at first, but now I understand. I simple, quick up-vote down-vote method modeled on Reddit might be more effective and less cumbersome? I'm not sure, though, I have no experience managing forums.

These restrictions are a bit annoying, but I understand why they are there. Stupid trolls ruin it for the rest of us

Ah! Reasonable rules indeed. These restrictions actually help in preventing spammers and trollers. Cheers.

After spending days reading on these forums, it now seems as though I have passed the 2 hour mark on Total time logged in... Maybe in a few more days I'll be able to post in the real forums...

I opened my account some days ago. I almost got crazy looking to open a topic with questions. But I don't feel too comfortable with so much restrictions. I guess it must be done to control the spam.
