As far as I see there might be a flaw with the airdrop distribution - what if someone links their address with BTC, receives their bytes and then sends his bitcoins to another address, just so that he can make a new request for bytes from the new location?

It is free airdrop but not totally free after all. You still need to hold Bitcoins in order to qualify for the free coins and there is a formula based on what everyone receives for his holdings in Bitcoin or for having already Byteballs in wallet. You can receive free by either way or both way at the same time.

It is not possible to do that because distribution is done based on one specific blockchain. Whereever you coin resides at the time of snapshot, you will be rewarded BB if that address linked to your BB. your BTC cannot exist in two different addresses at the same time of that snapshot. Even if you linked both BTC addresses and move your coins berween the two, only one with a valid balance be counted for the distribution. The snapshots of Bitcoin blockchain and Byteball DAG for the 8th round will be taken on the Full Moon of August, on August 7, 2017 at 18:10 UTC.

Also, sorry for the newbie question, but should the chat with the bot start around half an hour before 18:10 UTC, so that you don't miss the snapshot?

Byteball looks super interesting, why are there so many useless/p&d/ponzi coins making so much noise in the alt boards, that the really innovative and good quality ones can go unnoticed for so long? Anyway, now I'm looking forward to the next moon The first rule of Byteball is: You do not talk about Byteball. The second rule of Byteball is: You do not talk about Byteball. People are staying silent because they want as many distributions as possible. Just wait, the biggest players and biggest pumpers own GBYTE and are keeping their mouths shut until the distribution is over. People who link BTC to dump GBYTE in 2017 are going to regret it. Byteball's story is so good too, especially at this time: coin has new architecture, no blocks, no mining, zero inflation after distribution ends, and already does smart contracts in a very user-friendly and slick wallet. Fear not mate, we will pump hard when the time is right. Winter is coming.

Yes, days after august 1rst, the altcoins market will be back and ByteBall will rise again to it's previous prices... and more higer (because the new distribution is coming and new distribution equal 20% profit guaranty ).

Sure those who get "free" bcc will convert them to btc and go to buy profitable coins , hopefully byteballs.

I still can´t find a solution for my problem. The balance remains 0. Could it be a problem with the latest version of the wallet? Isn´t there anyone who faced the same problem before? Some help will be really appreciated :/

Maybe your wallet can't access internet cause of a firewall or something else. Try to chat with a bot to check the connectivity.

UPDATE :
938439 BTC linked which will bring approx. : 58,652 gb
and we have 365,903gb in circulation which will bring : 73,180 gb more after airdrop
So
365,903+73,180+58,173=497,735 Gb in total in circulation after give away.
That's 50% of all gbytes.
Yes i think in this rate we will have 3 more airdrops. Distribution : 0.0625 Gb for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.2 new byte for each 1 byte you already hold. 131.94375 MBB for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.42222 new Bbyte for each 1 byte you already hold (on linked addresses only).
Scheduled: August 7, 2017 at 18:10 UTC
Time left: 6 Days 8h Next Update in 12-hours

I am participating in the airdrop since the 1st round. But why i was receiving black bytes at the rates of bytes? 2-5 rounds, I got 0.1 (was promised 0.21111) GBB per GBB + 0.0625*2.1111 GBB per BTC 6,7 rounds, 0.2 (was promised 0.42222) GBB per GBB + 0.0625*2.1111 GBB per BTC Can anyone explain? I did not open my wallet for a long time. I did not get about 100 GBB in total on all of my wallets.
I think the older ratio for byteball gains was 10%, later it was changed to 20% (and it's like this for some time). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I understand that by November all the coins will be distributed, right? How do you think the price of Bytball will drop after the last distribution? The project is good, but there is an opinion that something - that the distributed free of charge has no special value ... Although I do not agree with this.

There could be a massive drop in price after the last distribution(like after every airdrop) because there wont be an incentive for majority to hold still Byteball because there wont be an airdrop anymore. The whole project is great and the fun will just start after whole distribution I think. Anyway I am buying after every dip some GBYTE to get more free GBYTE through the aidrdop. I wish I could afford to buy more lol

Version 1.10.0 released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases* Redesigned two pages used to create smart contracts: bind payment and offer contract. Now they look more like contract prose rather than web forms. They also reduce manual entry and validate input for a few known oracles (validation is not perfect but prevents the most obvious mistakes). * Added ability to vote in polls. Now we can have referendums. Poll Bot is added to the Bot Store, it assists in making a vote. A vote is a small transaction that pays to yourself and is signed by your most funded addresses, the weight of the vote is the combined balance of the signing addresses. Note that there is a privacy concern because by making a vote you associate a number of your addresses. Source code of the poll bot: https://github.com/byteball/poll-bot* Fixed a bug that sometimes caused full clients to crash while syncing * Fixed a bug that in rare circumstances led to creation of unspendable addresses during first run on Android wallets * Fixed a bug that caused the wallet to erroneously complain about lack of coins when trying to send blackbytes * Fixed creation of .desktop files on fresh Linux installs * Other small bugfixes and improvements You need to upgrade in order to vote.
