Can the president of the Philippines can do it. Well I like what his doing in his campaign. It is very amazing program and very work program in the country. Many were discipline now because of him.
Our president can do it. At first, he said that he will do it, now, I know that he can do it. He can erradicate all the drug user in the Philippines and we are gonna live in a drug-free country. You can say that it will take some time but there are so many plans and activities regarding on drugs. Our president has plotted this a long time ago. He will definetly do in for the sake of his people.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

It Is possible to completely get rid of illegal drugs in the country by 2022 under the watch of President Rodrigo Duterte, according the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
In a forum in Manila on Tuesday, PDEA Dir. Gen. Isidro Lapena said Duterte’s initiative have pushed all concerned government agencies to triple their efforts in curbing the drug menace, noting that the government’s accomplishment in the antidrug campaign “has gone to a level that is more than five years of the previous administration."

This is really true. Not just drugs, even the cigarette smokers in our country got disciplined because of our leader. I do hope that other than his campaign against drugs, he still has a lot in his sleeves, especially for our country's economy. I hope that Philippines will become one of the most successful countries in the world.
It definitely won't with a criminal moron like Duterte in charge.

The government now can do it! Before the current administration, drugs users and sellers are everywhere. But now, a lot of drug users stopped using or they were forced to stop because they are afraid that something might happen to them. Some users admit that they were using to be rehabilitated. I think its one problem, the rehabilitating facilities are full and it requires a lot of money to go on rehab. Others ended up using again because they didn't finish the program. Hopefully, the administration can take care of it and help the drug users. No comment on those lives lost because of the campaign.

You want usually more what is forbidden. Therefore, it will not hurt to introduce a balancing offer
Drugs are non negotoable type of deal. Drugs destroys someone's mentality and his ability to judge right from wrong. Drugs should not be taken lightly as some have already suffered from the acts if these pushers.
I support a drug free philippines.

So does alcohol, and alcohol is a drug. You should ban it too.

I don't drink, I don't like it, at all. I do smoke marijuana though. I have conditions which are approved for medicinal use in other countries. On top of that, it just calms me down. Yet, I'm not allowed to smoke. But if I wanted to drink myself to death, that's fine... I'm sure the hypocrisy will be lost on you.

I lived in the philippines for 10 years and left once duetard got into office. You realize... Deutard was/is taking fentanyl right? The most dangerous drug known to man? Ah, but that's ok, it's 'approved by his doctor'.. Nevermind the same doctor said he's abusing it..

I've also seen a lot of people who weren't on drugs that couldn't tell right from wrong. There's a disconnect between your words and reality. Or are you suggesting that every criminal on the planet (including 99% of your senators, and congressmen) are all on drugs?

I think the program of the Philipine president is too cruel, killing man and doesn't give a shit if that's the wrong person. It's violated the human rights.

Reduction, yes, but a drug-free country is merely impossible. Why? because drug business has been around for centuries and too many powerful people are behind it. I can appreciate what the president is doing right now because it makes the country a safer place for us. However, I'm not in favor of the extra-judicial killings that have been rampant over the years.

Why?

The harder it is to get drugs, the more people can charge for it. The higher the cost of a drug, the more people are willing to risk (their lives) to smuggle it.

Let's say you have a kid, and your kid needs a surgery or they will die. Someone comes to you and says.. Take these 50 kilos of meth to the philippines and they will give you $100,000.. Enough to pay for your kid's surgery... Would you risk it? Or let your kid die?

Let's say you're some dirt poor filipino who makes 250 pesos a day. Someone offers you $100,000 (5M pesos) to fly to china, pick up 50 kilos of meth and bring it back to the philippines. How many do you think would do it?

..

Just look at singapore and indonesia.. They've been putting people to death for drugs for a long time now... And they're still doing it.. Why? Because people are still willing to risk their life to make quick money. If you want to end the drug problem you need to give people somewhere to go in life. If the government of the philippines had spent the last 10 years building infrastructure and fixing their fucked up / corrupt system then people would be able to get a job, more companies would come to the philippines. But, they spent the last 10 years doing fuck all and stealing all the money they can. Companies don't want to go there because it's a big hassle to deal with the PH government and all their cronies looking for bribery money.

I sent my wife to register a company in Makati. The girl processing the paper wanted money from my wife to process the papers. We registered the company in HK instead (where they have infrastructure, rule of law, and modernized non-archaic systems) and my filipino employees are all considered contract workers to the HK company. PH government in the end, gets zero tax money from me because of one dumbass who expected bribes to do her fucking job.

If I was a filipino, I'd be on drugs too. The country is so fucked. And, the reason it's fucked is because of the culture.

You know who should be shot in the streets? Your senators, congressmen, mayors, and other elected officials. But, really, it's your own fault for electing these corrupt people in the first place. Everyone is all anti-dynasty, but keep voting for the members of the dynasties! Insanity. You guys remind me of these idiots who keep getting screwed over by the ASIC manufacturing companies. You keep doing the same thing expecting different results.

But even you will agree that the drug usage has fallen in the Philippines. Most of the major drug lords are no longer active. Some of them are dead. Some are in the prison. And some others have fled across the border to countries such as Thailand and Myanmar. According to the reliable reports, the level of drug addiction has fallen sharply in the Philippines.

It is not an overnight process and it is going to take many years. Drug addicts (especially the ones who can't get admitted to the rehabilitation centers) will do anything to get their hands on drugs. The government is having few options. At the most they can get these people admitted to the various de-addiction centers, but I have heard that they are already operating well beyond their designed capacity.

No, the Philippines will never become a drug-free country if the President's campaign will continue. The campaign will just make things worse for the country because a lot of innocent people will die. And he also was not able to keep his promises like doing the country a drug-free country in 3-6 months.
