4x shappire R9 280x vapor-x GPU 0 always faster than GPU 1 2 3 ?? memory swap 40 gb have 3x bios 015.42, elpida 1x bios 015.41 hynix. Does anybody have an idea? You did not post the clock settings. perhaps gpu 0 has better clock settings than the rest. use asrock 970 extreme 4 windows 7 + 2x pci-e powered risers for the small pci-e slot all stock, can not use any amd tool, it says driver not installed.... Driver install many time, ok in windows. use tech power gpu z amd monitor no info windows 10 the same, slower speed for all gpu,s gpu 0 faster, no amd tools amd driver 15.12 not possible to install stays on 2% missing windows update's??? or anything? use 16.10.3 GPU clock all the same No info Its fine. hashrate are usual with your clocks settings.

do you have a monitor connected to gpu0
Yes. It goes black. I plugged in a Kill A Watt meter, the PSU is 650 watts, and it's only drawing 350 from the wall mining zcash. Wattage rating means nothing. What is the brand/model and how many amps are on the +12V rail? Also, are you using risers? Are they power or unpowered? USB or ribbon?

I'm building 2 rigs i bought 6 rx 470's for my first rig should i buy r9 390's for my second rig ? Less used r9 390 second hands with warranty cost like 255-265 dollar in here(these cards used 2 month without oc) and rx 470's cost me 235 dollar. Any tips ?
Al will depend of your electrical cost. Higher it will be, higher I recommend you to prefer the RX 470s. With the price I'm paying, that's the one I chose.

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 480 vs MSI RX 480 GamingX?
I have both and would only buy MSI again due to ease of programability, noise, max output and heat. * 6 MSI RX470 X 4gb GPU RIG * 1120 H/s (186 ave h/s per gpu) * 880W at the wall * 1.27 H/W (Hash per Watt) * Settings = 1500 strap, 1900 mem, 1300 core. Although, If you can get good pricing, I would go for the MSI 480 4gb. The MSI 480 8gb is usually out of the price range to be efficient for the output you will get.

These are good stats bro thx for tips. Msi's graphic cards surely stable imo but i don't like the brand and they isn't gonna do rma for international products because of this i choose xfx.

No. Pool hashrates are calculated by shares.

I've got 6 8GB RX 480 reference cards in a Windows 7 rig. All on stock bios. Getting about 185 per card on v8. Every time I go into Wattman to change GPU core settings, even just a little bit on 1 card, my computer immediately blue screens. It does this even after using DDU in safe mode and loading the latest drivers. Anyone having the same issue? I've tried everything I know, but no matter what I do, it doesn't work. Any suggestions would be great!

How much RAM do u have in your rig? Have you increased virtual memory in Windows to help handle the load?

sometimes when i touch my cards it reboots. I think the miner does it when something is not well connected. Did u try to put this in your config file?
"-r -1" It will disable reboot mode
It seems like turning the fan speed up was the most stable. But i'll try -r -1. Thanks again. Edit: Crashed with -r -1 on normal settings. Super stable with fan speed at 65%... Install MSI Afterburner and set custom fan curves, I found a few of my gpu's were crashing also at anywhere from 75-80 above.. this should fix most of your crashes I think Been stable for hours with my fan speed manually set. You could try downclocking slightly, even perhaps 10 MHz. Transistors work better at lower temps, but if temp is causing crash, it seems it is at the edge of stability anyway. 75-80 is slightly high for my liking long term for the longevity of cards, but should be fine as long as it is below 80C. What are temps with fans 65%? GPU 0: 53C GPU 1: 48C I was monitoring temps on the cards, and i think it might be the risers that are shutting off from heat? Because the cards never read above 70c. 53C is really cool for GPU. It is possible risers would have issues at higher heat due to things expanding, you can try reseating them. As far as temps, low 70s is about my upper comfortable limit, if it's not too hot outside I set 70C temperature target. GPUs can run fine up to about 95C, though above perhaps 80C it will shorten life somewhat.

If you are mining on Flypool, they doubled their difficulty yesterday from 1000 to 2000 - payouts are worth double though so its no change to you.

In WattTool do you just change the last gpu core value or all of them?

It will solve many problems. 8GB RAM and 16GB virtual means RAM is not the problem. Upgrade your OS
