Another news: due to a lot of requests I got, finally I reconsidered my plans about Linux version, I will release it in a couple of days.

Question. Why running your xmr CPU miner affects the performance of your zcash miner? Not enough physical memory? What do you think? The GPU miner uses only about 2% of cpu
Set the xmr process to low priority, and zcash to above normal.  ZCash doesn't need a lot of CPU, but if it has to fight for it, it will slow it down.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

And if changing priorities like xeridea said does not help enough, use less threads for xmr. -1 at a time until it does not affect zec.
You may also set affinity on both that zec has a dedicated core and rest of them are for xmr

This is great news. I installed a dualboot system so I could use your version to mine Zcash. I've had trouble with other miners. If you do this, back to Linux it is for me!

I have no improvement with Claymore 9.2
Both HD7950 cards are running at around 200H/s.

GPU - 9.1 -> 9.2
R7 370 - 155 -> 156
R9 280 - 195 -> 193
r9 290 - 295 -> 313

What's your settings for 290?

1050/1250, -i 8, modded 390X ROM, modded timings

1175mV core (just 69% ASIC) and 16.12.1 driver

So on 290 (not x) using 390x mod?

Yep.
No rocket science, just great work by Insan1tyOne http://www.overclock.net/t/1564219/modded-r9-390x-bios-for-r9-290-290x-updated-02-16-2016
However, if you want to run it 100% stable @190W at wall with such hashrate, it will take some time. With better ASIC would be easier of course. Probably can do a bit over 320H too, but I do not consider it before winter gets colder here Smiley

Thanks I used the same but not yet 290x on 290 and was getting 287 Smiley. Which driver u use?

Latest, 16.12.1.
Using these ROM-s as is will probably give you just about what you said. With extra timings mod on top of them you will get more.

Hello guys, I hope you are all doing well.

I come to you to ask for some help because of a problem with the miner. The point is that I have 6 r9 390 cards. I am mining eth but I wanted to mine zcash for a while but, as soon as I run the zcash miner the system crashes or the screen just turns black and the miner crash. The rig mines eth, etc and xmr without any problem, but after the 9.2 upgrade the Zcash mining is a problem. Any suggestion to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Have a great day you all.

I can help you. But you must tell me when miner crash. You can try -i 3 (if not crash add +1 if still crash -1). You can too load gpu randomly to prevent high power peak (You have 6x300W=1800W rig).  Mb thats help. You must try.

5 x Nanos + 290ref = 1485s/s @ 743watts 1.998
Nanos 900/390, 290ref 900/1125 -50mV

4 x 280x Vapors + 280x TriX + 7990 = 1520s/s @1463Watts 1.038
1100/1500, 7990 1050/1500

5 x Vapors + 295x2 = 1632s/s @ 1600watts 1.02
1150/1500, 295x2 1000/1250 -100mV

6 x 290ref = 1560s/s @1320watts  1.18
900/1125 -50mV

6 x Furys = 1775s/s @ 904watts 1.96
900/550 -75mV

Modded Roms(290ref, Nanos) Win 10 9.2

Thank you Claymore for all the hard work you have been putting in

Edit: food for thought
(6 x 290ref = 1707s/s @ 1505watts) -50 1000/1125 1.13
(6 x 290ref = 1562s/s @ 1285watts) -75 900/1125 1.2

Looking for a great modded rom for my 290ref.  Can you point me in the right direction to the one you used?

Is anyone following the block chain? There's a miner address that starts with t1a that always comes with blocks up to 30 minutes old. I'm wondering if is even possible to find a block under the current difficulty and submit it once the diff lowers. Like I find a block with a 800 diff but current diff is 900, so I save it and if the diff goes under 800 I submit it. Is that even possible?

Try -i 4

In your bat file.

Or -i 3

The intensity can be as low as 1 or as high as 8

So setting a lower -i should help

All stock bios

3x Asus RX 480 4GB - ~231sol/s/ea (-100mV core) [+10sol/s vs 9.1]
2x Gigabyte RX 480 8GB - ~239sol/s/ea (-100mV core) [+15sol/s vs 9.1]
1x Sapphire Nitro R7 370 4GB - (+140 cc)  [+0sol/s vs 9.1]

Rig split between 1200w (80plus platinum) and 750w (80plus gold).. roughly at half max load each.

Total sol/s = 1315 [+67sol/s vs 9.1]
Total ATW = 928w [+25w vs 9.1]
Sols per watt = 1.417 [+0.035 sol/w vs 9.1]

Not a huge improvement but it is nonetheless. Thanks for the release Claymore!

Anyone know any bios mods for my cards?
