No change in my modded RX 480 4GBs and 8GBs, or R7 370s -- sol/s, temps, or power draw.

Claymore,

I have 42 Radeon 7970's. I've been mining with your miners for a year. I get 1.17KHs with 12.0 on a 4 card rig but every version after that lowers my hashrate.  I just tried 12.4 and same problem. All cards hash slower. Getting 1.05 max.

Any suggestions? I have increased the voltage but that doesn't seem to do it.

Thanks.

Is Equihash memory or GPU heavy on your GPU?

My 4 GPU RX480 rig has been mining stable with all 12.x versions of Claymore.  When I attempt to add 5th RX480, miner hangs after awhile with OpenCL error.  Miner also doesn't recover, and keep mining; entire system hangs.  My mobo is MSI z170A.  I have modified BIOS to mine with more than 4 GPUs per guides in forums (change pcie to gen 1, enable 4G).

So frustrating trying to figure out how to get 5th miner to run stable.  Have tried with -i 6, -i 5, now trying with -i 7....

Also, not all 5 RX480s mine at 300 H/s.  One is 300 H/s second one real close, but other ones like 250-270 H/s  Undecided Huh

Claymore please help.

I have been running a 6 gpu rig (470s) on a 1000w psu with the older claymore versions with no problem but since these new v12s have come out I keep getting reboots every 5 minutes or so....Has your new version of the miner added more power per gpu? That is the only thing I can think of for the reboots.

Any help from anyone would be much appreciated.

Unplugged 1 gpu, will see how that goes.

Have you got the same problem with ETH solo mining ?

My rig hang after few hours with 6 RX 480 : maybe it's my PSU, 1020W from the wall with a 1000w EVGA PSU (can archive 1200w from the wall), but I have no problem with claymore eth miner

I unplugged 1 card and now 5 have been mining without a stop for about an hour....Normally restarts after 5 minutes..

I will leave on till tomorrow and see if its ok...

Looks like the new claymore version is asking for more juice from my psu, looks like I need to get 1200w now.

-asm 0 will use v11? So same power as before...

Will give it a go.

Thanks.

Have you installed newer drivers? I get less h/s with those 17.x.x drivers than with 16.9.2

Per the readme I am using 15.12 on all rigs.

for jddebug

What is your intesity setting i am using sapphire r9 280x and MSI 7970 lighting and have found that if I go for intesity higher than -i 2 my rigs start going unstable (restarting, hanging etc..) for the 7970 with downvolt to 1069 mV on the GPU core, on the r9 280 x I can do -i 4 and be stable with the downvolt of 980 mV.

7970 downvolt stable -i 2 get 290 to 300 h/s on claymore 12.4
r9 280 downvolt stable -i 4 get 290 to 300 h/s on claymore 12.4

All cards are running asm option
Hope this helps

To all the people having issues with the 12.x versions... I was having issue with this as well. I was getting lock-ups, bluescreens, etc. Try bumping up your virtual memory to 25gb and make sure you have plenty of disk space to allocate it.
