I just added a 750 Ti to my computer which has 2 x Radeon 7950's in. Unfortunately the second I run cudaminer I get "The application was unable to start correctly (&xc000007b)"
Windows 8.1 and running cgminer 3.7.3 Kalroth edition with the 7950s.
Thanks that works, getting about 260Khash with -i 0 but then teamviewer cuts out and so does cgminer. If I change it to -i 1 then I get about 160Khash and everything else still works but I lose more than 160Khash off cgminer. Maybe its because this rig only has a sempron 145? I've got a spare mobo/cpu which is a 4ghz dual core FM2 chip, would this help? possibly running with the -H 1 option? that one puts a lot of stress on the CPU. Switch to -H 2 if possible. Christian Yes that has sorted it, getting 250-260K off the 750Ti and full speed with the 7950's as well, now to get tuning it up to about 340 like other people seem to be getting

I don't see the point of passive cooling given that the fans on the 750Ti cards are some of the quietest out there. I would pull my hat for a mod that made the cooling of a 750 Ti a single slot solution. i.e. rip the cooler from an 8800 GT and fix it to the 750 Ti ALSO: I really want a low profile version of 750 or 750 Ti. That would be nice to see
All they need to do now is put an ethernet plug on the back, and enable direct gpu mining, it would atleast be useful for game streaming

not sure it's a good idea (or wireless), you would need one router for each mining rig

I just installed an additional fan. Dropped temperatures by around 7c. Damn, why I waited this long to install the second one, just pure stupidity to have just one pulling cool air

I've received a bit of an optimization from nVidia engineers for the t and k kernels used in Yacoin. It will add an extra kHash/s to 780, Titan and 780Ti devices for N-factor 14 coins. I am going to try this tonight, and maybe push an update if I can confirm the gains. Seems these guys are doing my job now, lol Christian Would Nice if a collaboration would lead to an One click Unbuntu App. Give it a Cudamanager interface for different mining pools and we are ready to mine on a Unbuntu USB Stick. Where can I donate for this Project?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=489172.0Who's getting on Helix Coin with me at launch? Goes live tomorrow 3pm EST. It's a SHA3 coin so we might have a similar repeat with what happened with MAX and cudaminer

I may give this one a shot - Am on Mint right now, and occasionally Black. But Mint is getting hard to mine (halving in next few blocks too). So I'm looking for something to make a quick bit on. 502 is launching tomorrow as well.

How in the heck (with any given coin) do you figure out what the main server/ports are to Solo mine? I would like to try this on a new coin for the first ~1-2 hrs, cause I like the lottery aspect of it! lol! That's how I got my first 96 Max Coins, and it was kind of a rush. Luckily somebody posted a how-to for max, and listed server/ports - but I never see these listed in the launch pages of the coins. TIA!

A lot of people people have probably never even GPU mined Bitcoin for that matter.

I'm 52, and have been around, and worked in, the computer field since the TRS-80. I'm not an idiot, but since I've never mined at all prior to MAX, I just thought I'd ask. My bad.

I was speaking from the prospective of a bitcoin miner who has experienced gpu mining multiple bitcoins per day on 5970s. There's always a learning curve be it then or now. It's not difficult after you get a hang of how the configs work but there's no reason why you have to look down on people who are just starting out.

No need to feel attacked, I was a bit rude, sorry. But yeah it should be the exact same way you set up MAX. Also, Christian, how's that nVidia engineer code coming along?

The wallet runs a server (server=1 in conf file) on your computer (localhost or 127.0.0.1) or local network on the port you choose (rpcport=). Now you can also check on which port it runs by default using the task manager and resource monitor.
