I'm sure at least one member of the crowd at the conference will ask Yufi for a batch update.

If batch 2 doesn't go out this next week I'll be a little  Cry

welcome to the new BFL...

No way man, we aren't anywhere near BFL territory.

Avalon is only about 1/12th as a bad as BFL for delays. Maybe 1/11th.

I'd like them addressing the issue of the "missing" telephone number which is, instead, present (at least in my case Smiley) and available inside their own site Sad

... hmm ... except that BFL hasn't shipped hundreds of devices then suddenly stopped for months without explanation after receiving millions of dollars ...

Though someone inside did seem to imply the Avalons will appear shortly ...

I'd guess that GitSyncom would find it rather difficult to stand in front of an audience and talk about BTC while they hadn't released any Batch #2 devices ... so that should probably be an incentive for him to make sure they start shipping and stop mining on some of them ... since there is no other incentive.

from the updates yesterday, it seems more batch #2 devices have shipped.  HOWEVER, where are the batch #2 trade-in orders at???   THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE PRIORITY.  emphasized with caps Smiley  One thing I have learned in business and the real world....being a man of your word speaks volumes.

Indeed! They have shipped 5 units then stopped. Such an awesome display of manufacturing prowess. And it only took a year, for sure this will go into the annals of Bitcoin as the most succesful ASIC shipment ever!

More than a dozen actually and less than a year ...

Why dont you guys stop comparing? BFL is obviously a legit company and so is Bitsyncom.
If one or the other scams, fine, our money is down the drain. We knew that risk before buying. Lets just wait for updates.

Good news from the field.  I just got an email from Avalon with a tracking number for batch #2.  Wish me luck.

As always, thank you team Avalon.  Wish I could meet you at the conference this weekend, but I didn't get the airplane tickets in time.

Cool, one of the first 20 is out.
Thank you, bitcoin conference! Cheesy

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers
