It won't disappear juat like that, it'll still be there, maybe not as the mainstream currency or coin but i doubt that it will disappear. Also, I don't think that the price will jump to 1mil, maybe a couple of thousands or hundred thousands but 20yrs is a long time period, who knows what will happen.

No one could really  able  to  predict on what would  happen  on the future  especially to bitcoins. We could somehow  give  predictions and  speculations  but those  are  not precise but seeing the  potential and standing  of  bitcoin as  of  now  we could really say that  it would somehow last for  long time as  long there are people  would  really use it  on the future.

I agree, Bitcoin will still be there and it will be hard for bitcoin to just disappear after 20 years. In my opinion, After 20 years the bitcoin will be more expensive and harder to mine than now. And most of the countries already accepts bitcoin as a payment and it is very widely known as a secondary currency in the most countries in the world. But as other said, No one can predict the future so let just sit back and enjoy our bitcoins.

Bitcoin 20 years from now got two possibilities where it will be by that time. This is just a speculation though but the first possibility is that bitcoin have a price of at least double of what it is now or more and it will have a high volume transactions everyday. The other possibility is that bitcoin will not be worthless but will have less the value of what it is now, and it might have low volume transaction since it might be replaced by another cryptocurrency by that time since the future is really unpredictable.

In the next 20 years bitcoin will become favorite online transaction and will become one of the currency most used by all people in the world, and i dont think bitcoin can be replace by other crypto currency, there are more coins offer better feature than bitcoin, but the bitcoin user still loyal, so i dont think bitcoin is replaceable

I think Bitcoin have really great potential, and it will become even more attractive and useful in the next 20 years. The price is already increasing highly since a while and more people started to use Bitcoin as main payment processor

I guess bitcoin would have a super market capitalization among all other cryptocurrencies because the current rate of adoption, usage and acceptance says that within 10 years bitcoin would reach a position as international currency as almost all will start using bitcoin but it wouldn't get promotion to international currency in my view because no government Will want to make other currency international

to be honest i can image that some other crypto replace bitcoin
there were talk and tread here about lots of them but in the end bitcoin is price and it will be for very long time
no doubt that it will be some coin that will come close to bitcoin but he wont be bigger then bitcoin in any way not now or in next 20 year

If there isn't a world war and there is still internet as we know it, bitcoin should be around even in 20 years. I don't know if the DEVS working on it at present will help it to evolve into something more advanced as by then there will be more advanced technology that for certain. Now with quantum computing and AI, I would be curious to see what the blockchain will look like in 20 years from now.

We can only speculate as to the state of bitcoin in two decades... already so much has happened over the paat 5 years that even its early adopters could not foresee.

Perhaps cryptocurrency has a long way to go and the teething problems in its current infancy will shape how we view currency in 2036. We may be one of the old farts who ask "remember bitcoin?".

I'm thinking the same percentage of overall population that would use on 20 years from now. It's not impossible to happen though because bit coins adoption can't be stopped no matter what and adoption will surely increase as the time goes by and 20 years is already long and we don't really know if bitcoin is still alive or dead already.

I think more than 40% , my rough estimate is more than 50% to 75% or almost 1/4 of yth world.The young ones of today is 50+ years old at that time   and they have much knowledge of internet and technology.

yes right i agree, twenty years again maybe user bitcoin will be 40+ or 50+ and sure certainly teenager will use bitcoin..
