BitCoin 20 Years From Now

This is a problematic question. After people first appeared in space they were pretty sure that soon they will be able to appear on some planets and even live there. However, it surprisingly didn't go a lot further than just space. Taking this into consideration we can make a guess that btc will not dissappear at least, because some other (not IT) sphere will suddenly start huge developments. Will it cost a million? This sounds unrealistic as well. Unless we presuppose the great inflation, of course.

We are here just to make a speculation, so feel free to speak up mate
Considering bitcoin have a slow but sure progress we can expect in the next 20 years there will be a lot of merchants adopt bitcoin
You will be a ble to buy daily needs like a pizza, coke, bread etc. In many places offline
But yeah really not sure when have to make a speculation about that high price up to million dollar, just cannot imagine what would be bitcoin if it's happened.

I dont see daily needs be like pizza, coke, bread rice and others are something that we really need, but those two first are unrealistic, anyway, i do believe into 20 years bitcoin will be used and accepted for all merchants and we will be talking about one of the most expensive currencies, worthing around 5000-1000 dollars, and with some altcoins should be alive, the stronger and i hope no more shitty coins can survive neither be supported by exchanges.

20 years is a long, long time to be predicting anything about bitcoin since it's a rather new thing in out world and it had a great impact since it is what it is and it's different fron what we've ever knew. Lot's of things can happen in the next few years, but if bitcoin continues at this pace we'll see a great improvment in juat a couplr of upcoming years.

So, if i were to be predicting something, I'd say that the bitcoin will poaaibly become an everyday part of our lives, like a household item where everyone will have it in the next 10-15 years and it will go on like that but i sense that banks or large corporations will have a great deal in the bitcoin business, probably taxing or the changesbin the blockchain or bitcoin code itself to be accepted the same as fiat money is.

20 years from now will be 2036. Well, at that moment everyone had been using bitcoin, and bitcoin price has to be higher than it is today. but, I am sure, there will be a few coins that have a high price, and compete with bitcoin. but, I think, will be more advanced bitcoin, because of the level of confidence in the bitcoin, has risen to the height.

I think in the next 20 years bitcoin will still at the top and we will see another alt coin as the bitcoin side kick, judging from the enthusiastic market and big company and the government that are interested in bitcoin, i predict bitcoin will grow bigger and bigger

I think the bitcoin can not survive 20 years again, until now the bitcoin already 8 years, a lot of people are know to discover the weakness of the bitcoin, so makes me pessimistic can survive 20 years again.

Its not necessarily for us to put focus or efforts since we could easily buy bitcoin and hold them for long time and for sure it will really give us nice profits on near future. 20 years is already long enough and we wont still know on what would happen to bitcoin on those years but one things for sure if people would really continue to use bitcoin it will surely stood still and developed even more.

No one knows 20 years is a long time. We have no guarantee that bitcoin still exist at that moment we cant also say that bitcoin will become pricey nobody can predict

I think bitcoin will still exist over 20 years. I think BTC exist now for about 8 years. So why should bitcoin not keep on living. I have seen in the neighbourhood of where i live, there are already a few places where you can buy things with bitcoin. I really believe it goes the good way. What will be the price over 20 years. I think it will also be X... the price of now. Depends what the governments will decide all over the world.

Yes competing with major payment processors like visa and some government may declare their stand on bitcoin payment system these are few big events going to happen in next 20 years around bitcoin systems. But we can simply say one thing : bitcoin is going to be a very big force for humankind for their better financial system and freedom than what we have been using for last thousand years.

What nobody realizes that if Bitcoin grows to much higher dollar values, miners that are now worth only about $35 are actually worth much more if you saved the Bitcoin mined with them.  At least in the winter and colder parts of autumn/spring, where you can use the "free" heat they make.

   So that is your opinion, backed up with discovery of some weaknesses. I think everything and anything on this world has a weakness, that is ying and yang, but to not go too much of topic, you didn`t provide any good argument for your opinion, for now its just a feeling that you have, and that feeling can be completely wrong if you ask me. And my arguments are that in this 8 years of existence bitcoin made pretty good progress, and potential that bitcoin have now is much more visible then 5 years ago. Look around the forum, how many sites there is that accepts bitcoin payment now. Bitcoin is growing that is a fact, and in 20 years we can expect great things.

i think it is still very early to expect anything form bitcoin, but to me if we study the present progress of bitcoin as people are entering in bitcoin and accepting it, we can conclude that after 20 year bitcoin will become one of the most popular crypto currency of the world. and majority of the people of the world will be using it.

Probably in 20 years Bitcoin will be there as the "internet currency", don't have idea about the value but i also think that banks and countries will develop their own blockchain.

Otherwise, Bitcoin would be replaced.
