We really, really don't know what will happen after 20 years. I think the only thing we should do now if we want a good result about in bitcoin. Bitcoin worth a million dollars are far more beyond the future when you asked me; bitcoin ceased to exist is a ridiculous one because it is a innovative currency and whose not riding these currencies to make a country's economy strong. I don't think it will be bitcoin as the leading currency at this point, but I do expect to see cryptos as a prominent method of payment within 20 years. Way easier way to.maintain a financial ledger, and the fees put current money remission to shame

I agree with you. Bitcoin will still be on the top of the lists of most used and huge volume cryptocurrency. But after 20 years there will be a high competitive game and there is a chance for bitcoin to be replaced because of the improved and better version of features than bitcoin.

Earlier I used to think that after 20 years bitcoin will be only used as an online currency and what not. But now looking at it i feel that just the prices of bitcoin will increase and rest everything will almost remain the same

Bitcoin will not just survive for 20 years it will remain to exist for more than 50 years. Though bitcoin will not be able to replace the fiat currency around the world but it will be accepted as a form of payment in all parts of the globe. Japan last April 1 has launched its statement that they will accept bitcoin as a form of payment. Though different countries will not accept bitcoin as a currency but as long as it can function as a medium of exchange and will continue to increase in value I will still be thankful.

Altcoins will always have a part of the market simply because they will always attract investors. Even if an altcoin doesn't get that much from the crowdsale, just from the altcoin traders alone gives them a good share of the market.

I think bitcoin wouldn't lose dominance because there are many coins that are able to perform better in certain aspects. It will only take one coin for bitcoin to die. One coin that has all the necessary features that we both need and want like lightning transactions. Many coins with a slight improvement wouldn't do that much damage to bitcoins. Agree with you, bitcoin will be more stable on that year i think for now bitcoin continuous to develop the trust for more people even country but if the massive adoption happens i think stability of the price would also happen.
I also think creditcard would be worthless for next 20 years because all people starting to used bitcoin in online shops, online transaction etc.
