Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?

Not sure about altcoins,but bitcoin would still survive.Its price would rise much higher as more people will be using bitcoins at that time.It has already been estimated that bitcoin would be the sixth largest reserve currency in 2030.It would not be a surprise to see more shops displaying the board bitcoin payment accepted as we now see credit,debit cards accepted.

We don't know how things gonna get changed in future. I think in 20 years time we could be experiencing a good price increase along with the increased competence. Because now itself the altcoins are giving strong competence to bitcoin in technology as well usage.

It can be that people around the world are after 20 years are using bitcoin everywhere, whether in any restaurant, fast food, job wages  through bitcoin, all kinds of business are bitcoin accepted something like, that all government by each nation adopted the system of bitcoin. its only my perception,.

Not exactly i don't think we need to wait for such a long time because at the current growth rate of bitcoin it is predictable that most of us will be using bitcoin and will be accepted in restaurants, as salary within 5 years and i am not sure how far it is true but heard that some organisations in USA pay wages to their employee by bitcoin .

Yes alt coins are giving a tough competition to bitcoin especially after the price pump of ETH and DASH in last 24 hours but there is a long way to go to reach anywhere near to bitcoin and i think in 20 years i think bitcoin will be used and accepted in each and every store and used just like credit or debit cards and we already have bitcoin debit card out now.

if they can not fixe the issue with bitcoin i can't see bitcoin doing well in 20 years, bitcoin is affected by the fee issued and if bitcoin grow very big, we would still have this issue even after they fix the block limit, because 10k satoshi would be worth $1 with bitcoin at $10k

Yes it will be a problem if the fees are as high as our fiat fees. But if the price really sets to $10K then there is also a big possibility that miners fees will

decrease as bitcoins price increase. Look at the faucets, signature camps from the very first one until the current ones. Their rates are decreasing. If

services like this might also show up in the next 20 years.

Bitcoin is king at a moment and even in future it will rule the world as I don't think there will be any innovative currency like bitcoin and even if there will come any new currency but it won't hold the multiple benefits as bitcoin is holding and there bitcoin will have upper hand on other cryptos.

to me i think 20 years is such a big time. i think we cannot predict about the rice of bitcoin for such a high time. but we can expect that the rice of bitcoin will go more high and hing for next few years, and even after 20 yeear bitcoin will be trading 20 time high as compare to the present price of bitcoin.

It is true that we are now experiencing the amazing convergence of technologies. Now 20 years from now I really don't know what's that gonna be looks like, the only thing I see by that time bitcoin has surely high value and everything is very high-tec, and  fully developed too. I guess there's no poor people  living in the street also when that comes.

Exactly, nobody knows what is gonna happen with Bitcoin after 20 years, but technology is developing, and I wish to see fast transactions. I hope the time for transaction will be minimized in the next 20 years, and as its growing now, I believe it will continue to grow and become many time costly than Gold.

As quoted none knows exactly what's gonna happen. 20 years time is something very long time period to make predictions. Some times we too might be unavailable by that time. Mostly bitcoin will be on the success path serving similar to the mainstream currency without opposition from governments.

Half of us writing here the future of bitcoins may not be even alive by 20 years to see the outcome of what they say.  20 Years is 2 decades and we cannot say if bitcoin will be there or something better might have replaced it.

Indeed, 20 years is an incredible amount of time when you look at what bitcoin is. Think back 20 years and remember what technology was like and compare it to now. Now take that same feeling you got thinking about the advancements we've made and apply it to 20 years from now. It's amazing to try and imagine.

[1] How come there are no cryptocurrency that have replaced bitcoin yet when they are "stronger"? By stronger, you mean more support. And by more support, that will be seen at the price since investors are the ones that supports a coin and makes it strong. Bitcoin is the strongest coin as of now. Just by looking at the market cap, all other cryptocoins are far behind.

[2] When the merchants has finally started accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment, what coin do you think they are going to accept? Yeah, that's right. It's bitcoin. So there's no way that a crypto coin will come out of nowhere and take down bitcoin just because people have started to accept cryptocoin as payment.

That's for sure, bitcoin is decentralized and it was created by an anonymous person, the government could ban this but we know how big our support bitcoin and since it's only, everything is possible and we can make ways to continue the progress. I never think we will ever surpass the popularity of fiat because I'm already convince that are going to the successful path to be the leading only currency in the future.

If you ask me about an opinion I would surely say that in 20 years, bitcoin will be adopted by most of the countries worldwide and stores will have an options of btc payment on their counter. The bitcoin this time after 20 years will be a great part of our economy in terms of profitable and sustainable source of fiat money.

Yea I agree with you. I think betcoin will be an important part of the countries economy worldwide. And also one of the best investment instrument. We are going to use bitcoin for our daily payment.

Nope using for daily payments will surely remain a dream in case of bitcoin. Maybe altcoins can be used for making payments but with bitcoin i don't think so. It can be used for foreign trade but replacing it with dollars sounds impossible.

If bitcoin survive that long then it will be holding some unbelievable price and it will be widely used and accepted by that point of time as more people will be aware about it and there will be many places where we will be able to use them.
