If bitcoin survive that long then it will be holding some unbelievable price and it will be widely used and accepted by that point of time as more people will be aware about it and there will be many places where we will be able to use them.
I think till that time the government will create something to make bitcoin controlled by the system and to work on heads and elite of the country. Yes, it's going to be used in many places if bitcoin survive, but I doubt that bitcoin will not change. We will not see bitcoin the same. We will not see the same? yes because it will be more higher value than what we have now and for sure there will be countries that will going to accept bitcoin and maybe time will come government will find ways to control it like in fiat i am agree with you, i think bitcoin is now becoming more and more popular and therefore the people who are accepting bitcoins are now also increasing, and that is way we can expect that the price of bitcoin will increase more and more we've all seen the potential of bitcoin and bitcoin is great enough progress for this. I think in 20 years to come bitcoin is already very well known. may already be one of the largest commodity and online payments This could happen, but Bitcoin has a long way to go to gain widespread acceptance. The good thing is that the value seems to keep increasing so it has a lot of potential as an investment.

Though situations were hard at times due to the technology overcome by other competing virtual currencies bitcoin still holds its position. Because several virtual currencies evolve with much more features with feasibility in all requirements. But that doesn't stand long. So I believe even after 20 years time bitcoin stands high unlike the price.

Bitcoin is already the first most talked crypto currency, just few years after creating it. So we can predict it will be even the most used currency worldwide after 20 years from now.
That's a bold prediction, I think you mean majority of the world's population are going to use bitcoin, that would be possible but the success rate is not that high. We have seen how the government react about bitcoin, they just rejected the ETF application which everyone thinks could help the progress of bitcoin. Let's think that without the support of the government, massive adoption will not happen and despite of that I still believe bitcoin can still live to serve a smaller portion of population in this world like what is in the current situation. ETF has been rejected by the SEC, but it doesn't mean that bitcoin have no more future anymore, in fact, it do have one. Bitcoin could survive without this ETF being approved by the SEC, but, its price will still experience this fluctuation without this bitcoin ETF approval. So, we have to do the usual, we have to keep on earning bitcoin and saving it and wait for the right time to convert, for us to have profits in the long run. Maybe someday, we could have another chance to promote this bitcoin ETF and the SEC might approved it this second try. We just have to believe in bitcoin, and I know that even though it has been rejected by the SEC, still, many people will use it once they know that bitcoin is so amazing to use.

Look what they did, they panic and sold their bitcoins in a cheap value and now they will be crying because the bitcoin is rising again.

We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.
Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?
I guess, there is two things may happen after 20 years, it can be that bitcoin is not existing anymore or bitcoin still exist by that time and if that happen perhaps peolple around the are much more familiar into bitcoin or it can be that most of them are already bitcoin users. And I don't know we if we still have paper money.

What are you expecting? When the ETF gets approved, the price of bitcoin will not fluctuate anymore? That it will just steadily increase because investors will come rushing in? I don't think so. Even when there's bitcoin ETF, the price fluctuation will still be the same. Bitcoin will still be volatile and people are still going to play manipulations with bitcoin's price. Bitcoin ETF will help us grow as a community and it will help the price of bitcoin to increase in the long run but it will definitely not erase our capability to make the market move as we want by buying/selling enough.

In twenty years they will be calling bitcoin, Etherium! Yes? I don't know; twenty years is a long time away relative to the pace of technology and innovation. The development of the bitcoin network doesn't seem to be keeping pace with the rest of the community....Bitcoin may be falling behind so we might have something else less antiquated in 20 years, yes?

The capitalization of Bitcoin will create a market of 400 billion dollars, making each currency become worth 40 thousand dollars. When that happens, if it does, I do not know, but if it really comes to fruition, it's probably going to be much faster than anyone imagines.

I would not say it's impossible to happen but if you really believe on that, you can start building your dream now, try to invest and hold for a longer period of time. That way you can prove to yourself that you really trust the future of bitcoin.

Bitcoin has A very bright future. With NYC coming into existence we entered the new era of technology with big tech giants like Microsoft investing in the development of block chain and other crypto currencies What I perceive is that btc has very bright future. My anticipation Says that 20 years from now we will see many countries accepting btc as a current and surely after 20years we will see people accepting btc for day to day activities

That way you can prove to yourself that you really trust the future of bitcoin. 250000$$ plus is a little to much. That will only happen if all the fiat has been replace by Bitcoin and I think that would be impossible or in the distant future. Yup, the dream always start now. It is a now or never scenario. Some are just observers and tend to act a little too late when the time comes ( that's why there are so many regrets ). Hold it for a long period of time and make it as a form of inheritance ( if you truly believe in it, you're going to pass it to new generations ). Bitcoin is barely surviving these days, so we are. This past revolving earth makes us all fades, but the concepts, beliefs, principle will stay forever if these things are in the foundation of truth. 20,30,100 years from now is such a short time. I hope I will leave for a thousands of years to see the change Bitcoin have become. Sadly we are here on earth in a limited time. And that time do what we can do and flourished there. Like an old saying said: The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Bitcoin has a binary future. It’ll either be found to be flawed, leading to $0 per bitcoin, (which I personally don’t believe will happen because 150 of the brightest minds on earth work very hard on it) or it will still be with us, still finding use as the one and only global currency.
If you read up on the network effect, it’s obvious that the protocol of bitcoin is growing and squashing all of the other cryptocurrencies with its network effect.
So considering that there will only be 21 million possible bitcoins ever, and bitcoin uses the network effect to stay dominant above all other cryptocurrencies, at it’s current growth rate all 7.2 Billion people will easily be using bitcoin within 20 years.
So, some simple math:
7,200,000,000 people / 20 million bitcoins mined in 2036 = 0.0028 bitcoins per person
Assuming that everyone only needs a little bit of bitcoin on average, say, $100 worth, each bitcoin would be worth $35,714 at the time. Of course, if our economy is based on bitcoin, instead of using dollars and replacing markets like gold and many other things it can be used for today, we’re literally talking about millions and millions of dollars per bitcoin in 2036.
So it’s up to you to decide what it can and cannot replace. Many experts disagree one what that will be, exactly.

Your math is well suited to logic, but I do not think that even these two variants will happen with bitcoin in the future. There will be no collapse of the crypto currency, nor its leadership in the financial market. Perhaps some countries will be able to take bitcoin, but this will be a local circumstance.

Bitcoin being around 20 years from now would be cool to see. The whole fact that btc is actually gaining popularity from the regular guys in the world is nice and it also makes it easier for all income classes getting together for the next adventure. Once Bitcoin has enough of a value increase that allows anyone holding it to purchase everything they want then there should be a purpose for Bitcoin to survive longer.
