Nice volume today: ~165000 USD
Please keep in mind, that it is still cheaper to buy in LTC-, DOGE- and ETH-markets. So always compare, before you buy, in order to get the best price: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#markets

Don't panic guys!

They sent from the new wallet with low fee the transactions. They will fix this soon! No transaction lost!

Hi! If within 72 hours the transaction does not appear in the moonchain, then my mooncoin will go back automatically? Or not?

Hodler of mooncoin from early May'17 and really happy that new dev do his job.

Vassilis, could you tell us more about upcoming hard fork?
What will it bring to moon community?

I took this from github, new hard fork will bring:
1) We will stay on Scrypt (Ballon is too exotic, and it will be dead end for mooncoin)
2) DUAL_KGW3 with Bitsend timeout for fast diff adjustment
3) Warpsync block speedup - meaning a full sync from scratch can be achieved in 34 minutes
4) Controlled lowering of coin emission via dynamic nSubsidy
May be more thing?

Questions:
1) Supply will be lowered? If yes - how?
2) Are we competitive enough with this hard fork against other coins in dev point of view?
3) What is the main domain for use? Who are we? (IOTA for big data and IoT, Monero for anonymity, Bitcoin - gold, etc.)
4)  Do we have only one dev right now? What happened with barrysty1e?

A few posts above Vassilis said, he's working on a solution. The problem has to do with small tx-fees and the exchanges.
@Vassilis: I have looked at several tx's in the blockchain now. All of them have a fee of 0.1 MOON (if not set individually). Why? I assume, this is a preset of the old wallet from barrysty1e that will be abandoned/obsolete after the hardfork? Because normally a fee is not necessary at all when the chain is not overcrowded.

Well the strange thing is that some transactions are confirming with a .1 moon fee and some don't.
Also sometimes withdrawals are successfull from conexchange I noticed, but some are stuck for days. All the same fee.
Is there some kind of soft minimum / policy fee that some miners may have configured above 0.1 moon?
Also does mooncoin support replace by fee? If so coinexchange could easely bump the fee of its outstanding transactions in the mempool.

Hi,

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Nope, the principle is always the same the transactions which "stuck" are under 0.01 (and the most of them are ~0.001 fee) fee.
I found a bug, right now i'm making the changes in code and i will contact with pools to fix this.
Because miners decide if they will add the transaction or not!

Also, in middle time, from 21/12 i have adviced both exchangers to not send transactions under 0.01 fee.

Your money it's not possible to lost except if you send them in wrong address! Smiley

Please, be patient.. i do my best!

The new wallet is very quickly synchronized for 20 minutes and ready. Great work! I see a great future for this coin.

Thanks Vassilis.
At the moment it should not be necessary at all to set a tx-fee, because the tx-volume on the chain can easily be handled and no need to prioritize any tx. I'm pretty sure, no miner/pool will look at the fees now, since they simply mine every possible block at the moment, in order to increase their income.
