The stock market went down on news of Hillary's fbi investigation at the same time the btc surge happened. When Hillary wins the stock market will go back up and btc will dump. I will quote myself next week when I'm right.
I think it's incorrect to associate btc's recent rally with any current events when you had major bitcoin events like segwit and switzerland happening at the same time.

Bitcoin is still not large and mature enough yet to be a safe haven. It's still a high tech science experiment mostly supported by the permissiveness of banks and governments. It is going to follow the markets - not go against them.

Dude... u'r some FOMO heavy breather... do you want to buy more and you are waiting your next pay day in a week or so?? Or what is with all the BS's propaganda you are implying??  Roll Eyes

Do you at least know why bitcoin is so slow and not going directly to 10-50 million US$ per coin?? ... Because that means they need to give up their scam system for a legitimate foolproof system.  Cool

LOL! Grin
Yes, if we can cope with its rollercoaster syndrome, BTC outperforms nearly everything that can be tradable today.
Today it would be stupid not to have at least a small % of BTC in one's portofolio

Thanks.  I opened it up, and I will try it out for a while (at least while bitcoinwisdom remains down).  I am kind of used to the interface on bitcoinwisdom, but you never know, maybe I will get use to this different layout?

Yeah, I still prefer Wisdom's interface for BTC. Cryptowatch is good for a backup though. (Man, if only Clark Moody was still going Wink)

in europe everything fine with bitcoinwisdom

It's back up this morning.  I think that it was down for a bit more than 24 hours.  While it was "down" you click on  refresh on the browser the site would show the price on that particular exchange, but it would not show anything else.  Anyhow, seems to be working fine now.

I will keep https://cryptowat.ch/bitstamp/btcusd in my bookmarks as a backup plan.

I like BTC stability.
I buy coins before lunch and found that when I eat  lost 10 percent of my investment.

Other posters say Trump would rise Bitcoin. Which is it???

Also apparently every politician is Hitler. I've heard all of them called Hitler, including Trump, Obama and Bernie Sanders. Who is the real Hitler? Which one will gas 6,000,000 people?

If Adolf Hitler himself was elected, would Bitcoin rise or fall?

If that many people were killed due to an election then bitcoin would not be in existence. Their would be utter anarchy and people would be fighting for their lives to scape up what fiat that they can. Get real!
Quit screwing around son!

You must be doing something wrong, then.

Overall, I would not characterize BTC as "stable", and it seems to be more long term upwardly volatile although it you take shorter periods of time, there are ways to lose money in the short term, especially if you are a balls to the walls kind of short-term gambler, attempt to predict short term direction and you don't have any kind of long term BTC accumulation plan (that goes beyond making short-term and risky bets).

Hackers stole each year at least 100k coins from  exchange. New investors now like to  buy because they trust in BTC security. BTC soon to moon.

Trump's polling correlates very well against different asset classes, either positively (gold) or negatively (peso, stocks). It's not hard to guess how a Trump presidency would affect bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not correlated with either one of these asset classes.
