There's no real bitcoin usage or trading in China anyway, except the asic mining farms and some fake wash selling.

even if this bit of news turns out to be bullshit, it's inevitable it's gonna happen at some point even though this capital flight talk has zero basis in fact. no real chinese people are doing anything with it. it's bots, miners, traders and exchange owners.
the exchanges are where governments can do what they like to bitcoin. the maximalists can talk all they want about how bitcoin be unaffected, the overwhelming majority of its users will be.
that said china doesn't do much for bitcoin and it would be for the best if the government there clarified things once and for all.

Most Bitcoin utility is supported by major exchanges because nearly all Bitcoin merchants don't truly accept Bitcoin but interface with a service like Bit pay in order to accept fiat converted from Bitcoin, and the service gets its fiat liquidity from a major exchange. You can bet that all the parties involved from the merchants to the service to the exchanges keep their books with profits shown in fiat and they don't really give a crap about Bitcoin. What would be equally or more damaging is if governments passed laws preventing individual use. How many people will break the law in order to still use Bitcoin? A much smaller economy.

Good morning Bitcoinland. So we finally got an appreciable correction, all the way back down to where we were the day before yesterday... $719 on Bitcoin average. what with the 1000 dollars i see 750
The $1000 bill shown in Elwar's post is Canadian. You'll also note the asterisk in the $1000 post I made last night. We're currently at about $961 CAD.

So get ready to settle in on $699.9999 for a long while, because that's where the FUDster whale(s) wanna take it to. So predictable I could set my watch to this crap.

They don't want cheap manpower to escape from china. A friend of mine who looks a little like Chinese (but he isn't) told me a story once, that he was about to leave China, and at the airport a police stopped him and asked him why does he want to leave China. That's fucking hilarious.

So get ready to settle in on $699.9999 for a long while, because that's where the FUDster whale(s) wanna take it to. So predictable I could set my watch to this crap. Hahahahahah... we will see if your prediction comes true. How long is awhile 1-2 months? Maybe a few weeks is a while in bitcoinlandia? I personally think that the odds of you being correct are fairly low. There are no fucking FUDsters or anyone else exactly able to control the price direction of bitcoin.. especially when it starts getting a bit heated up. We had a price appreciation of nearly 25% from $610 to $750 and now we experienced a price correction of nearly 7% from $750 to lower $700s... A price correction like this, or even a price correction that could go back down to $610, will likely trigger some kind of a battle... That is not called settling in, that is called volatility and that is called increased volume, and then we see if one side or the other wins, or if like you are suggesting, there ends up being a $699 truce... Whatever.. there is no inevitability or numerology or any of this other phoney baloney numerology crap that you tend to be inclined to spew out.
