Don't forget in the big pump everyone was conveniently all tied up in KYC for ages

Indeed, exchanges were all coping with manpower to add new users, any new news about that?

There was also a graph/drawing posted here with the price being in the dark green forest, hill of hope, etc?
I think HairyMacGLairy posted that one..?

Where are we now?

I've just finished wathcing another Satoshi's Vision session, this time it's Craigh Wright, I wanna sacrifice some of my life to these opponents of Bitcoin so I can see what they think, but I'm getting to the point where I'm gonna start simply ignoring them.

This is what I take from the CSW talk:
There was almost no factual or technical content, he wants me to feel dumb compared to him, he constantly tells me how smart he is, and its a chore for him to talk down to me. His speaking voice, repeatative phrasing, and endless repetition of content becomes terribly tedious.
Even though this time he started by telling us, today is the day when he actually releases something, there was nothing but promises that things are coming soon.
When asked an interesting question at the end about 0-Conf, as usual, he failed to engage at a technical level and went off at a tangent, indicating to me his inability to grasp the issue.
I've seen this patterned repeatedly when he is asked probing questions, he fails to answer them, and finds a tangental course which he can answer in an emotional way. This is surely the sign of a true conman

The guy is a total waste of my time, and offers absolutely nothing.
Roger doesnt say anything new and is also a waste of time.

I struggle to find humour in their stupidity anymore, and will leave it to Dark Pill to find the gems in the their nonsense.

The only person I've seen in that whole conference that was worth watching is Peter Rizen, now I dislike his trolling and his futile attempts to manipulate this thread, and I also disagre with a lot of his conclusions, but he is actually worth listening to, though the 0-Conf stuff he talks about is not really relevant to BTC, it simply reveals a weakness in the BCH approach.

I thank you for saving my time then! You couldn't bother listening such narcissistic personalities if I can do other things! Again, you saved my time and merited accordingly. Cool beans
In the meanwhile, this weekend has been too calm so far Lips sealed

Whatever the price action, there is no way the concept of cryptocurrency is going to be 'uninvented'. This thing is here to stay and it is just waiting to catch the next wave. But these intermediate periods are rather dull (and test the resolve of weak minds that only focus on FIAT value).

In other news.
Toronto Stock Exchange Operator to Launch Cryptocurrency Brokerage Platform

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Canada-based stock exchange operator TMX Group has announced that it will launch a cryptocurrency brokerage platform.

TMX — best known as the operator of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) — unveiled the plans on Thursday, stating that the platform would likely launch by mid-year and would allow clients to buy and sell Bitcoin and Ether, (no mention of other coins at this time) the two most liquid cryptocurrencies.

The venture will see TMX subsidiary Shorcan Digital Currency Network (DCN) partner with Paycase Financial, a decentralized financial services provider based out of Toronto. BMO Financial Group has agreed to provide Shorcan DCN with banking services.

Paycase CEO Joseph Weinberg said that the cryptocurrency brokerage’s launch represents the first “true institutionalization of cryptocurrencies as an asset class,” adding that it will help establish a bridge between mainstream finance and the burgeoning cryptoasset ecosystem.

Yep absolutely plus you have Dollar system and global currency generally in disarray.   Some kind of transition to a better system is happening, believe in something besides crypto if you like but it seems a bit ignorant to imagine or dismiss crypto will not be part of future systems.

Any good capitalist system is driven towards efficiency and involves competitive free markets, so of course price can come down but that isnt bearish of the sector overall.  The situation with mt gox was far worse with false accounting and an opaque failure, a market that is evolving is a positive so overall I will stay positive on crypto prospects so long as it keeps developing and improving utility.  Political currency or FIAT is seriously flawed and cannot be said to be doing similarly, on balance that makes FIAT weaker long term.

The recent high was a touch of the 200 DMA.   That general area is good resistance that will take some battle to surmount.   Price weakness probably relates to a common recognition of that I think, needs time.

I'm going to start a conference called "Steve Jobs' Vision". It's going to be all about how Apple has lost it's way, and the NeXT computer was the perfect desktop computer that people should have been using all along.  I'll manufacture about 5 new NeXT computers, and take pre-orders for the rest.

Haha. And garner a $16B market cap? Riiiight. JLawGoodLuck.png

Your 'irony' is weaksauce. To be worth ANYthing, the analogy needs some sort of linkage, no matter how tenuous.
