Weekly MA 200 is at $3140 (BFX). Does not seem an illogical target for the bottom but I would first expect a small rally to $5,500-$5,700 (with double top RSI around 50 indicating the top for that upward correction).

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I love these Bitcoin hit pieces that always come out at the bottom of the market:

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/11/21/why-you-may-want-to-leave-bitcoin-off-the-thanksgiving-dinner-table.html

It's like they want to make sure that any Average Joe that got even remotely interested in Bitcoin last year, throws that passing interest right in the garbage. They want him to feel complete shame for even *thinking* about buying Bitcoin right now (an actual good time to buy).

See ya at the top of the next ATH, n00b!

Infofront, are you really meriting Eliott Wavers?  It's impossible for them to be correct because so much market activity is simply long and short squeezes.  If they are counting on some random bullshit to happen at X count, but the entire market is on the same side of the trade and long or short there, then the market is going the exact opposite way.

It kind of falls back to the self fulfilling prophecy narrative that Eliott wave will work if every market maker on the planet uses that instead of something else (lol?).  But counts are also subjective on top of that, making it even worse.  Did I mention the inventor of Eliott wave died broke?

Happy Turkeyday everyone! weird it fell on a Thursday. stfu JJG!

I am actually in physical pain from working so much this last week.

BTMFD!

I can't! I lost a shitload the last few weeks gamblin. Smiley

My timing always sucks. Smiley

I also forgot to sell so there’s that.

Smiley

And if so .... we just gotta stay in our pants and keep on hodling we are all the way back down here so a few bucks lower ain’t no drama for the HODLERS mindset - hodlers goals......

^
I know your pain. Let the doctor prescribe you something with quetiapine - small dosage (25mg).

It really helps with those unpleasant things.

Makes a little sleepy, so better take it before sleep (if you sleep at all, I mean).

Been there done that. Smiley

Has everybody started buying AGAIN now?

I bought pretty much all of my coins in 2014 & am still HODLING most of them now. I decided to stop buying when we went back to $1000 after the Gox crash. Seeing that we reached $19,xxx last year though makes me think these are cheap coins atm.

I bought some the other day & am thinking about buying again today.

So who’s buying now or are you waiting to go lower still?

See first reply

10 !@@$%#@$ pages today already!
Only back 8 now.

Personally, I know traders who work with Waves really nice. You have to keep all the possible scenarios in your head.

Eliott wave has always bothered me because they pretend markets are practically deterministic in nature where an input from long ago automagically means something will happen in the future instead of markets being constantly changing, on the fly events.

Risto has been AWOL on the Monero thread too. He went crazy again, and basically lost everything, AFAIK.
From what I hear, Richie went crazy and ran to the bcash forum.

Niggaz be goin crazy up in hurrr. It's the WO curse.

I wonder whether all this attracts the already deranged or whether it drives people deranged.

You see the same thing with would-be crypto 'thought leaders'. Most of them seem to get rolling all fluffy-tailed and fairly rapidly wind up broken and raging, plus embracing BCWhatever.

My boy from Lapland says your boy from Boston is a liar. He says he dropped coal on that bitch every year.

Those who get driven mad are normally ticking time bombs to begin with, so I'd say the former.

So if we're set for a repeat of the last cycle and the next two years consist of not very much followed by some jizz in 2021, how will you take it? What will you get up to? Will it break you? Will you double down? Will you steal a yacht and sail away? Are you already all set?

Me, I think I'm going to be rather annoyed by it all. Not sure I'm in the mood for more interminable nothing but it's certainly looking like it's on the menu. I may pass the time unicycling down every road in my county which is about 15,000 miles. I can't ride a unicycle.

I don't get the allure of cocaine. Sure it smells fantastic and gets you all giddy for a while, but is it really worth the stuffed, drippy nose for the next 3 days?

this is the monthly chart, blue zone is the monthly orderblock.normal we expect buyers to get in there and there should be a bounce....
bounce is very weak so not really positive, candle closes in 8 days, positive would be if the candle closes above that zone.

this is the weekly chart, red zone is the weekly orderblock.
light bounce of the equilibrium (50% of that zone, yellow line) would be positive if that candle sunday closes above that zone.

dailey chart, here we see that the price doesn't bounce to hard of that zone, so not very positive.
next level where to expect a reaction would be 3K, level that will also be anticipated by many traders imo, there i expect much buying intrest.
but even now if the price would pullback towards 5.5K i wouldn't see it to be bullish, and even a possibility for traders to short ( i never short to much HEART of the BULL in me )
bullish would be break through 6K and retest.

white would be bullish, but from when break through that grey zone.
red scenario's or much more likely @the moment imo, white 20%chance, scenario for first pullback and then drop 40% chance, and just dropping right now 40% chance.
something like that, that how i think its possibilty's... but could go sideways for a while as well.
end of the line its anyones guess Roll Eyes

i wouldn't like it yo go under 3K, then i really hope for it to be with a capitulation candle that bounces real quick, i thought the price would already bounced a bit harder as it is, so i'm predominantly bearish shortterm.
but whatever we are not here to think short term ...... so who am i fooling Roll Eyes Grin
