Funny how no one asks the question, "Why the hell does the U.S. Govt have a massive bitcoin balance if TPTB hate bitcoin and crypto so much?"

Control over a whole percentage of bitcoin's turnover does not seem to be the weakest component of control. As long as they are accumulating bitcoin in such volumes, whatever they say about bitcoin regulation sounds more significant than without such leverage. And if they also engage in mining, the situation may change even more.

Bitcoin TA so called experts are after viewership and don't know what they are talking about more than half the time.
They pushing a sponsor and selling you a product 100% of the time such as signing up to an exchange so you can use their advice to make 1000% gains.

I voted on the poll, and I'm happy that most of us are optimistic about seeing a new all-time high (ATH) in 2024.

This means we shouldn't worry about what will happen to Bitcoin this year. It's not expected to reach a new ATH, so there's still plenty of opportunity to accumulate. I'm not a technical analysis expert, but based on experience, I've noticed that it's easier to make money when the market is in a bull run.

So, guys, just enjoy what you're doing now. The price may experience a temporary dump, but we know it's just an opportunity in disguise. Dumps present opportunities. Grin

Here is another funny question, "What the hell does the U.S. Govt plan to do with the massive bitcoin balance they have?"
what i think the U.S. Govt will do with the bitcoin they hold;

  • buy a lot of pizza then distribute it to all residents as a commemoration of bitcoin pizza day is coming soon
  • make the bitcoin they have as collateral for a debt

just a funny thought....

just a thought:
there is a possibility that the next halving bullrun arrives later than usual.  almost everyone seems to expect a normally scheduled bullrun... and that alone should actually be enough of a reason for it not to happen.  On top of that we might face some medium-term price pressure from the US Gov. sitting on 200k BTC, and from some of the 140k Gox coins...

Yes.. a lots of things "could happen."

I am not very convinced about your prognostication... if that's how we might label your above Nostradamus wannabe attempt?

My statement was clearly preceded by the remarks "just a thought" and "there is a possibility".  Why would you wanna label that as a Nostradamus prognostication, when it's clearly not a prediction?

So I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get what most people expect this time. But what do I know...

Probably not very much.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

That was a lay-up, no?

we could have that in common when it comes to knowing the future

I did host CB images for a while but that is poor opsec and makes you a target. Doing something in the cloud might work.

200 weekly MA defended for now, the bleeding has stopped for the moment. Feels like we’re on a knife edge, will the US default or will the debt limit be lifted?

The halving is less than a year away but we are going to get volatility before it I think.

Pepper your angus.

Halving Event is one of the most awaited events for Bitcoiners but seems like these days something is going in a wrong mode in the Bitcoin Discussion there maximum of comments and topics referring to some sort of Issue Ordinals and they are even linking it with fundamental destruction of ideas (In Bitcoin). What I picked up is this is going to be a controversial topic again and be going to be one of the most Hot trend named Ordinals VS BTC
