How about the Ledger issue?
Nobody its gonna talk about it?
why? because everybody should know by now that ledger is a crap company without any ethos. Let's see: - closed source secure element design ...check - peddling to shitcoiners with as much shitcoin apps as possible ...check - leaked personal data of 270k customers ...check - encourages their users to give up their seed phrase to some 3rd party companies ...check - implementing KYC ...check ... How much more do people need to turn away from them? let ledger die already... Yes but the problem with that its..... the harm they can do to BTC price and trust, no mater what we know and what you said above its completly true, the problem its the mayority of normal people or people who are not in BTC are gonna be more and more afraid if this kind of shit still happening. And you know we are only a few against a full army of press and paid opinions. badger doesn't give a shit... tik tok next block oh and btw... should you think this funny USD price represents the actual value of a decentralized and free computing network 600k times as powerful as the 500 top supercomputers in a world going full digital, you are  if average Joe understood the significance of BTC, we would be at 1M-5M per coin tomorrow. Maybe imgur blacklisted Bitcointalk because of ChartBuddy, wouldn't be surprised, lol.
I did wonder that. But lots of other people use imgur across many threads and the proxy keeps the number of requests down. The bigger issue is likely because the proxy aggregates a *lot* of requests as being from the same address. Although it actually reduces the data requested from imgur, it looks like bad behavior. Is there any official statement from Theymos yet? Will the issue even be investigated? I hope it wasn't CB to piss off imgur and block ip.bitcointalk.org  |

yes. I think that what it is is that imgur added a new very restrictive per-IP limit on image downloads. So all ip.bitcointalk.org requests are blocked, but even many Tor exit nodes are being blocked, for example.
I'm not going to attempt to play some cat-and-mouse game with imgur, so people will just have to use a different service such as TalkImg.
Will the issue even be investigated? I hope it wasn't CB to piss off imgur and block ip.bitcointalk.org But I have faced problem some time which is very bad experience for me, Many times I couldn't upload a photo after many tries so I got frustrated and used a platform other than imgur. But it is true that imgur has some problems. Edited. |
