It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Yes KillaMarci, looks like a bearish pennant on clarkmoody. Most of the rocket fuel has been used up on the China news and there is not much supply over the weekend. Might retest $100.

We are all so gullible aren't we?  Shocked

The wall at 107 was gone by the time I went for a shower.

I think we will retest $90 if we go under $105 (and i think we will).

I think $100 will not be breached but no bets. My reasoning:

79->119 first retracement 104.2
95->119 second retracement 103.7.

I am calling 50% probability that this will be the area of capitulation, and next we go up.
- 25% we go to the $95 area and then up.
- 25% we leave this behind right away since 105 mighty wall already took two assaults from above, and was not even close.

There is immense buying pressure.

The sudden rise just now breached the triangle I posted earlier. 1min + lag on Gox right now.

Looks like we are back in 2011, where huge walls were used to manipulate people on either side.

Seems more on the buy side. 40k bids show up and keep disappearing between 100-105.

There was a similarly sized ask from when we plunged to 50 and rebounded to ~80 in the 90s. Of course it vanished.

certainly amusing, if we manage to hit the 105 wall, you're going to suddenly see 20k bids disappear into thin air.

Yep. Clearly those walls are not all buys and sells but just manipulations.

But, there are many people not showing their cards and just waiting to jump in one way of the other...

Man, what's with that $2M just added to the order book? IMO that's a huge manipulation attempt, next move on this pump and dump that will probably unfold from Monday to Wednesday.

Check it:

That's the $100 bid wall that just popped up. Most likely fake.

I don't know, although there is some obvious market manipulation going on, that is an awful lot to put in as bid orders that close to the current trading price.  The orders are still live right now.  Just another sign that some real money is starting to take notice of BTC, not just miners, geeks, and economists.
