This isnt a bearish pattern.   Each low has been higher then the previous.   A trend can break but its mostly positive in my view.    Theres a flat top to the highs which suggests we need to break through some resistance. 
Overall longer term obviously we have had a downtrend and I guess sideways after that decline should be taken as a positive also.  So the rough top now is quite a high curb, it was the chunk of lows in November end before we rose in December alot.   It was Jan low and its been significant this month also.

We haven’t broken the downtrend on the weekly, although we are bumping our heads against it.

Indeed over the last few days the lows have all been getting higher, but unless 9092 gets tested , and properly broken , and then a daily close above 9500,  I'm still bearish

So in my view the enormous spike and the enormous dip that followed was an anomaly that should simply be ignored.
If we look at it as a dip from 10 000 instead, the recovery we are seeing now is quite normal and we will see 20 000 in a couple of months, followed by 40 000 three to four months after that and 80 000 by years end. Unless of course there is another end of year FOMO, in which case we might go to 120 000 or more followed by another super dip in January.

This introspect navel watching is only confusing. Look at the longer term trends instead. It always goes up in December and always dips in January/Februari and then goes up until summer when it goes down a little and some sideways action, and then it goes up again in the fall/winter and spikes in December.

I actually think that we have decent chances of going up, or otherwise, maybe it is still safe if BTC prices were to continue to bounce around between $7k and $10k, but I am going to start to get nervous if $7k gets broken... because that just puts prices closer to $6,666.66..    

 0n the opposite end, I won't be so nervous if $10k resistance gets broken.. since that is the preferable direction, anyhow... and takes us further away from those lower price areas and closer to $11,111.11..and probably if we were to stay above $10k for a while, further support would develop to allow a bit of comfort that the floor is in.... still too early to tell though, right?

I actually think that we have decent chances of going up, or otherwise, maybe it is still safe if BTC prices were to continue to bounce around between $7k and $10k, but I am going to start to get nervous if $7k gets broken... because that just puts prices closer to $6,666.66..

On the other end of the statement, the leveraging of Satoshi client assets by the Bitcoin Cash project is part and parcel of open source. There is nothing untoward nor illegitimate about doing so. This is how open source technology progresses.
