And another whole week of constant slow down-movement.

Well, maybe it goes to 10k again in the coming months.

or in the coming hours

Last weeks it was always dumping slowly in the weekends, except previous weekend.

But i agree since 7feb we were in the steady up movement, and since 3 days we are dumping slowly again to 2 feb levels.

I sure hope indeed we rise slowly back to 10k at least.

IMHO the only thing that can justify PoW change is Quantum computing attack on SHA2, and Cuckoo Cycle is Quantum resistant btw. Doing it now is jumping in the abyss just for the sake of change.

Three weeks ago it was $6000. Nudging back up to $10000 from $9500 shouldn't take long. There was constant slow up movement between 4th Feb and 21 Feb. A slight correction for the last half a week is healthy.

Core devs can come out and say "We upgrading the btc protocol to keep it safe against Quantum computers so a PoW change is necessary".

Bitmain will have no ground against this.  Grin

man, this is brilliant.

Or it could drop down to $8k and stay there for a year.

I can see 8000 where I will purchase another $100k Of BTC. What is your plans?

On top of buying drinks for the entire thread, I'll suck your dick if we see $8,000 USD/BTC this year.

You can quote me on that.

replying just to make sure I would have a reference.
Do I think that 8K is likely? Maybe not, but with a low conviction.

It's a euphemism. Before sucking your dick he strangles you with a garden hose. "Drink" he calls it. "Everybody gets drinks."

Haha. Buh-bye.

Yeah, it is problematic that none of us has the cojones to actually put our treasure, talent, and time on the line to compete in the marketplace. But seppuku is not the solution.

And not a damn thing we can actually DO about it. Self-correcting problem eventually, but until then it will only get worse.

At least they're trying quite hard to fuck themselves these days by completely ignoring the will and voices of citizens. And Bitcorns arrived pretty much just in time for the next big crisis as well. With the US shitting dollars and European banks drowning in toxic loans all on top of all the other nonsense we might actually see some exciting changes quite soon.

Also fuck Canada. Despite their SJW retards I was considering moving there due to comparatively low CG tax rates and what I thought to be low income and corporate tax rates (by European standards). But it turned out that the tax calculator didn't include federal income tax, which bumped it up to near 50%. Fuck that noise.
